Dr. Fujisaki is a great doctor. My previous eye doctor retired and I was referred here. They have very flexible hours, early morning, weekend (1 Saturday a month they open at 0700) and evening hours. I was promptly taken back, the receptionist is very welcoming and overall my appointment was great. I have to return in a month and was pleasantly surprised that my appointment was easy to make (no long wait for follow up appointment) and I don't have to take off of work to attend my follow up. Yay!

Dr. Okamura and receptionist Van Are a good team! They've been working together long enough to know the flow of the office and how to work things between scheduling, clinical work and seeing the patients on time. Dr. Okamura took his time explaining to my son how to put on and take care of his new contact lenses.. he's very detailed explaining to me what to expect and I love that! He's not the kind of doctor that is rushing you so he can go on to the next patient! I love this place, my son who's 13 years old loves it here as well. We feel special and we trust them! Definitely

There are two locations: pearl city and Waipahu. I Love both locations because the Doctors are the best eye doctors I've ever encountered. They are helpful, caring, and funny!
Years ago, i switched my insurance plan and was forced to choose another doctor, and kaisers is ok, but I intentionally switched my insurance company just to keep going to leeward eye care.

Rude receptionist. It is not the public's fault that the Internet lists the Pearl City office number as the Waipahu office number. Stick to the Waipahu location, friendlier staff.
Tip for this doctor - consider having someone fix the inaccurate phone number information on the internet. Also, alert the receptionist staff of this inaccuracy and retrain them so that when others call in this same situation trying to reach the Waipahu location, they are not met with a condescending attitude.

Been coming here since I was a little girl. He knows my mom because she use to work at the bank next door. I always feel comfortable here because they address me by my first name as I walk in the door....(they better! i've been coming here for years!) haha j/k Dr. Fukisaki is super nice and I can feel comfortable asking him about anything....color contacts, eye problems, etc.

I came to this optometry place (one of the listed once by my insurance) and recommended. Dr. Fujisaki is a nice person and is very personable. He made you feel welcome and is informative. He gives you your options of contact lenses and does a thorough check up and is gentle to your eyes. The facility is clean and the receptionist was very sweet and made you feel at home. I didn't have to worry about my copay because the assistant took the extra step in billing my insurance.
Downfall is parking was a bit of a challenge since all the businesses shares parking and it was hard to find. Remember
