This is a review for their combination bento boxes.
The combination bento box costs about the same as any other Japanese restaurant in the area. However, I don't think the price is fair for the amount & quality of food you get.
The portion of the California rolls and the rice is pretty generous, but it's super duper small for everything else. I believe it was roughly 3oz for the grilled chicken and 3-4 oz for the grilled salmon.
Overall, I find that their food tastes a little bland.
(Even with the teriyaki sauce). Their rolls and potato salad also taste more sour than the ones

Wonderful neighborhood spot with a healthy selection of fresh sashimi at inexpensive prices. I've had their chirashi bowl, nabeyaki udon, and different sashimi... all delicious. They do ask for proof of vaccination and that you be masked upon arrival. I hope noone gives them any grief for it ... it's such a treat!

While there are definitely a number of other options in the area, you would be hard pressed to find a better sushi restaurant in the area than Sushi Land. It might look a little unassuming from the outside--it is a rather small storefront stashed away next to the Pizza Hut on Hacienda Boulevard--but Sushi Land provides consistently fresh, high-quality ingredients at an affordable price and is THE place in Hacienda Heights that I take people from out of town for a good meal.

Very surprised w/ the quality and price from this mom and pop restaurant. We ordered Togo and had to drive 30mins home, but the food was packed nice and tight w/ ice bags to keep the sushi fresh. The fish was so fresh and buttery. The rice was perfectly seasoned and not hard! The donburi was also really delicious. We will be supporting more of this small business and will be adding it into our sushi rotation.

This is my new, "Go to" place for sushi. I LOVE this place! So good in fact, that I was recently a first time visitor and returned the following night to order take-out a second night. I was tempted to make it three in a roll (get it, a roll!?) but reluctantly, I decided to wait until the weekend to plan my third visit.

Apparently crazy rockin sushi doesnt know their menu over the phone. I was put on hold by a crazy rockin sushi employee 5 consecutive times. Total wait time; 20 minutes. So I hung up and came to Sushi Land. Speedy service and definitely underrated. This place is off the hook and I will come here again. Thank you Sushi Land.

I can only eat cooked sushi because I'm baking my own little bun in the oven (I'm pregnant). They took all necessary precautions to make me comfortable ordering food from them during this crazy COVID19 pandemic surge (mid December 2020). The rice to filling ratio is absolutely perfect. Crunch roll has the perfect amount of crunch! Absolutely delicious. Will be back.

Sushiland has some of the best quality seafood in the area. They have lunch specials every day that are very affordable. I usually get the chirashi bowl (as pictured) or any of the lunch bento boxes, which comes with tempura, sashimi, miso soup, and your choice of entree. I call ahead 15-20 minutes to order, and the people there are very nice and welcoming. All the employees wear masks and they only allow one customer inside the store at once per COVID guidelines. I frequented this restaurant before the pandemic, but I'm glad I can continue to support their small business by ordering takeout

Very cute little spot. Not one I would've initially gone to from just passing by. When I called in, they were very friendly and when I walked in, very friendly still and very cute. Very small restaurant inside!
I ordered the lunch bento with the fried fish and the chirashi. Prices went up a little from the menu pics but still a great value for the quantity and of good quality.
Point of appreciation: they separated my hot and cold orders AND put ice on the chirashi.
Chirashi bowl: 5/5 There were some beautiful pieces of tuna in the chirashi bowl.

Good news and bad news.
The good news. The food is always amazing and great service from everyone who works there. It's a family friendly place that has me coming back more and more. I've been many times and I keep coming back.
The bad news: It kicked most other sushi restaurants off my list to visit. This truly has all that I want. Many, many dishes means you can try all types of sushi and other food until your hearts content!

A little sushi restaurant doesn't look much from outside, but it's actually pretty comfy and cozy inside. We decided to sit at the sushi bar as usual for our Sunday dinner. They had happy hour which was great deals on beer and small plates. We ordered a few off the happy hour menu, also Omakase sushi and some regular items. I had two happy hour Sapporo draft.

Happy hour price for beer is great. The server is a really cute young lady. Food needs serious improvement. They use plain white rice instead of a sushi rice. The texture of the meats are tough and dry. The rolls fall apart easily. They have a blue crab roll but I'm pretty sure it's tuna or way past it's fresh date.
