Born 2 Dance offers high-quality dance programs for adults and kids. Our programs feature classes, workshops, intensives, summer camps, music videos, and recitals in an array of dance styles, including Bachata, Ballet, Barre, Belly Dance, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, K-POP, Salsa, Sensual Dance, Tap, and Zumba.

Born 2 Dance was founded in 2007 by Azin Mahoozi Shalan, a dance artist specializing in Middle Eastern Dance, with a passion for an endless variety of dance genres from around the world. Later that year, her then-boyfriend (now husband), Rami Shalan, joined her and the two embarked on a journey to bring their local communities an eclectic mix of dance styles all offered under one roof.
David has performed at the premier of 'Dirty Dancing, Havana Nights' for the Loewe's Theater in Georgetown. Manny is the founder and director of the popping crew "Kabuku", which he established in 2006. Victoria was a member of the first resident Born 2 Dance Studio Belly Dance company directed by Azin Mahoozi.
No matter what mood I'm in, when I enter B2D I always leave with a smile. I don't think there is another studio in the area that offers so many adult dance classes with a variety of styles and multiple performances outlets. I have performed at the semi-annual Gala in Jazz, Burlesque, and Hip Hop choreography pieces.
If after the Drop-In you decide to enroll in the full session (option #2 below), the drop-in fee you paid will apply towards the full session's fees, provided you do it right after class at the Front Desk. Needless to say, it's more economical to do a full session enrollment than pay the single drop-in fee per class.
Workshops afford you the opportunity to work on specific technique areas, learn new topics, and study with different faculty members, as well as guest instructors. We host periodic workshops in different dance styles and covering a wide rage of skill levels, including Master Classes with world-renowned choreographers, typically flown in from L.A. to train our students.

I had my daughters 5th bday party here and it was a great experience. We had a decent size separate room to have pizza and cake and set up our own decorations as we wanted. Kids had a separate room for their dance lesson. The dance instructor was very bubbly and perfectly geared for getting children riled up for a fun time. Both boys and girls had a good time dancing and running around. Highly recommend!!! Very clean and modern environment especially compared to other local studios.

My daughter is in a ballet class for 4-6 year olds. The class is only 45 minutes long and the teacher is always late and always finishes early giving them about 30 minutes of actual ballet time. As a parent this is frustrating because I have to fight traffic to get there and pay for the class that isn't even what it's supposed to be. The only reason I have continued is because my 4 year old loves participating, otherwise pretty disappointing. They clearly don't take this age group even a little seriously which is not entirely fair to them.
