Services
The Eastern Paso Robles meso-climate is the perfect environment for growing Syrah, Petite Sirah, Petit Verdot, Malbec, and Tempranillo grapes. Our award-winning wines delight the palate, and enhance any social or culinary experience. With our Proprietor's Reserve Wines, we set out to push the boundaries of excellence.
Overlooking a breathtaking bay, beside Highway 1 and across from the iconic Hearst Castle, our San Simeon tasting room is a must-visit destination. While the historic Sebastian's General Store undergoes an extended restoration, our San Simeon tasting room has been relocated to a larger, cliffside building across the street.
Our Proprietor's Reserve Wine Club members are the first to experience each of our award-winning wines and new vintages. Members enjoy three customizable allocations of six bottles each per year (one allocation consists exclusively of Proprietor's Reserve wines). The same benefits as our Proprietor's Reserve Wine Club, for those who prefer red wines exclusively.
Our winery events are a celebration of excellence in winemaking, jubilantly shared with club members and friends. Check back often-we offer experiences in a variety of locations and some occasions require reservations in advance. Join us as we cruise the "River of Gold" on this culinary, wine-filled, and scenic tour of Spain, Portugal and the Douro Valley on a luxurious Uniworld River Cruise.
After a day of exploring the best the Central Coast wine region has to offer, relax with your guests in the heart of wine country. Five minutes from downtown Paso Robles, and directly across from the tasting room at our Paso Robles vineyard, La Hacienda offers seclusion, gorgeous views, and living history.

I just had a lovely experience at Hearst Ranch Vineyard! My husband and I stopped in with our dogs to taste. The winery is in a beautiful country setting surrounded by vineyards and basil fields. Our fur kids were welcomed and enjoyed walking around the grounds. Their Covid protocols felt very safe and the outdoor patio was shady and comfortable. Excellent wines!! And I can’t say enough about Amy who helped us out. She is a somn and so knowledgeable about the wines and just a generally lovely person. Highly recommend stopping here!

We were here on a Tuesday so it was fairly quiet. The Wine Club Manager, Robert, was our server. He was personable and knowledgeable about the wines. In additional to the Cabs, Chardonnay, and Zinfandel among others, Hearst Ranch has some varietals that you don’t fine everywhere-Tempranillo, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. We enjoyed the wines and experience.
