Services
Mike and Kari MacKenzie are the directors of Marble Retreat and simultaneously direct the D.Min. Their background includes a variety of ministry experiences including: Mike's work as a hospice chaplain for 6 years and Kari's missionary work in China. As well they served on staff together at LifeBridge Christian Church and Blessing Ranch, an intensive counseling center for clergy.
Since 1974, Marble Retreat has provided a safe place for transformation and life giving hope to nearly 4,000 participants from around the world. Marble Retreat's 8-day program schedule consists of an effective combination of individual and group counseling led by professional counselors in a confidential setting of recreation and rest.
Our ministry at Marble Retreat provides brief, intensive, Christian Counseling in a retreat setting. Our goal is to provide hope and healing in your journey, therefore, we are providing links to additional resources which you may also find helpful. Thanks to some very generous donors and wonderful volunteers, our group therapy room has been remodeled and updated. It is warm, comfortable, and inviting. Marble Retreat opened its doors in 1974 to provide counseling for Christian leaders such as pastors, missionaries, and parachurch leaders. Louis and Melissa McBurney had a passion and calling to provide a place for Christian leaders to come to receive counsel, rest, and care.

I attended a session there several years ago and was richly blessed by the caring staff, the biblically based counseling and the new friends I made. And by the way, the scenery is absolutely gorgeous and the food is excellent! If you need some encouragement and assistance with challenges in your life, Marble Retreat is the place to go!
