When the sections are built, our expert team removes any old structures or materials on site, preps the site, and installs your new dock as efficiently as possible, meaning less hassle for you. Marine Floats production facility provides a unique opportunity to fabricate our dock systems in large sections that can be delivered via the water throughout the Puget sound.
The company was founded in Tenino, Washington in 1976 and produced floating docks for residential customers. It was purchased by Wendell and Pauline Stroud in 1988. Marine Floats subsequently moved to a facility off of the Thea Foss Waterway in Tacoma and continued doing business there for over 20 years.
Our EnviroCrete(R) System provides a pre-stressed, pre-tensioned concrete deck, and allows for up to 50% grating for maximum natural light penetration requirements. Concrete uses Stainless steel reinforcing to eliminate cracking and degradation from corrosion. Our EnviroTuff(R) System utilizes an RPL (recycled plastic lumber) composite plank that offers the rich visual appeal of wood without splintering, rotting, or cracking.
