Great people to work with, knowledgeable and hardworking. Will buy from them again. UPDATE: After a year and ½ of ownership had an issue with my outboard, they worked diligently to repair it even though I bothered them continuously, with help from Mercury they solved the issue and got me back on the water. Thanks to all at Nixons Marine. What a good feeling to know that you're in good hands.

I recently purchased a 2019 Skeeter FX 21 Apex from Nixons. I did not get a hat, shirt, thank you or a hand shake. I noticed everyone else got a picture taken. I wasn't asked for one. The buying process was absolutely disappointing. Buying a boat should be a memorable experience. I enjoyed working with Blaze. Really cool dude. I will say that I previously had the pleasure of dealing with Russ at Limit-Out Marine. If you are looking for a positive experience and the best customer service, don't hesitate to reach out to Russ @Limit-Out Marine because Nixons does not know a thing about customer service

Always pleasant. Sorry I missed Jeff Priester. I have purchased 3 Skeeter Bassboats here.
I visited Nixon's Marine on May 7th 2020 regarding an issue with my motor that I thought was their fault since they worked on it last. As it turns out an o-ring from the oil filter stuck up inside and when I put in a new filter I ended up doubling up which caused all the oil to spray out. Nixon's found the problem, poured in 6 1/2 qts. of synthetic oil (twice) at 13 bucks a qt., and thoroughly cleaned my motor inside and out with no charge. I can't say enough good things about Blase and the mechanics staff

Great place if you are looking to drop 50=90 grand on a boat. However if you are like me and looking to spend $5 on a shear pin for an old outboard....not so much.
I'll give them credit, they did take the time to get my information for the part I was needing. They just never called back.

Dishonest, Horrible and disrespect for my boat. I dropped it off in February and came back in March to take it out while my trolling motor was being worked on. My scag was buried in the ground all the way to the prop, no power to trim up, blown fuses. I got a call the other day saying my boat was done. It was $200 for shipment of my trolling motor to "California" BUT I was called by the Nixon's in Lakewood, WA in March saying he has my motor there. Once I was picking up my boat I asked 1 more time where it was sent and I was told California. I told them Lakewood called me and they told me they

I do not recommend Nixon for boat work. The shop staff couldn't follow through on the written request to call with a quote before starting work. The shop disassembled a large part of my boat engine before calling with a quote for routine maintenance work (impeller and carb rebuild) and refused to put it back together such that I had no choice but to pay them to finish the work at high hourly rates. Further the shop elected to do a full water pump replacement instead of just a impeller replacement raking up additional material costs.
