KOCO is a not-for-profit child care center that serves children from East Hampton and the surrounding communities. KOCO has served children, 8 weeks to 12 years, since 1988. Check here for the most up-to-date changes in our status during weather and other emergencies. I can spot a KOCO kid a mile away. Their social skills, courtesy and respect are immediately apparent. My children are 9 (girl) and 3 (boy) and have both been at KOCO since they were 3 months old. I wouldn't have it any other way.
Services
We are looking for a few special people who enjoy children, with the ability to be on their feet, multitask, and lift up to 40 lbs. Please submit a resume/application via email or in person. KOCO is a nurturing child care center that values all children and excels in helping each child realize their full potential.
Kids of Chatham Organization, Inc. is a not-for-profit center dedicated to providing quality child care to families in East Hampton, CT and the surrounding communities. An annually elected Board of Directors consists of parent volunteers who attend quarterly meetings and participate in company policy decision-making.
KOCO has been a fixture in town since 1988. For over a quarter of a century, we have helped to raise a generation of East Hampton's children. Many of those kids have returned to KOCO as staff members. Most of our staff live in town; many have taught at KOCO for over 5 years, some for over 10 years.
KOCO has been in business since 1988, employs certified teachers, and provides a thoughtful curriculum for each age group. Staff is continually educated in pertinent Early Childhood Education topics. We strive to offer programs that enrich the lives of the children we are privileged to know. For lots more on what makes us so special, see The KOCO Difference.
Community involvement is an important part of KOCO's mandate. KOCO partners with several area early childhood resources to enrich the curriculum. Our aim is to build a strong bond between school and community, as well as school and home. We support Project Graduation, Old Home Day, town fireworks, the Food Bank, and local theater groups.
