The station's location on "busy" US 113 north of Millsboro (the site of the now-vacant old McDonalds) ensured plenty of exposure in the early days and contributed substantially to the growth of the fledgling marine business. Dale's inspiration for Lingo Marine was a natural outgrowth of his love of the water and boating on the local waterways since childhood.

I just purchased a 1997 Bayliner with a 129 hp motor. I thought there was a problem with the battery starter, or wiring, just wasn’t sure exactly what it was. I talked to Dale Lingo and he said he wouldn’t be able to get to it for a couple of days, but would check it out. I called a couple of days later and spoke to a woman that answered the phone! It was so refreshing to be able to talk to someone that actually took the time to check on the status for me. Was told by friends don’t go to lingo marine and i ignored there advice as it was the closest marine shop near me. I bought a coil pack for my motor and when I get home I take off the rubber sleeve and they are both broken on the inside. I go back the next time there open and the guy basically tells me I’m lying and I won’t be getting a refund. You would think small family owned businesses would take care of there local customers but it seems this business is only in it for the money and don’t care how they get it or what happens to there reputation

Good people to do business with and they have great mechanics that can do anything that your boat or trailer needs to be done from working on rebuilting your engine or replacing your engine and they will work on all electrical on boats and Trailers my father used for over 40 years and I have been using them for 20 plus years you'll never go wrong by using this company family owned and family workers I would not go anywhere else

These people do not care about you or your boat. They do whatever they want to your boat without asking to run up your bill, and have about a 3 or 400 ℅ mark-up!
They will hold your boat for weeks saying they will look at it "tomorrow".
They also just lookup online to see how to fix your boat because they don't know. Anyone can do as good as them in their backyard.
Complete waste of time and money.
