Rudy's Strudel has been serving Cleveland and the surrounding communities for over 70 years featuring fine European traditional baking while putting a modern twist on classic ethnic bakery and food.

Ranging from mouth-watering homemade pierogi to sweet tasting European tortes, kolachki and strudel, we have something for everyone. We also create beautiful, custom wedding cakes. Bring in a photo or let us design a wonderful one of a kind masterpiece that will surely be remembered.
Services
From Hungarian immigrants starting the shop in 1948 to Lidia Trempe's Ukrainian and Polish parents picking up the torch in 1975, Rudy's Strudel and Bakery is steeped in Eastern European tradition. But you know that. You've already been wowed by its apple-filled paczki, potato and cheese pierogies and, of course, cheese strudel.

Original shop was on 44th and Woodbridge because I grew up on 44th and 41st on Woodbridge and would steal change from the bottom of my moms purse to sneak to go there. It was at the end of our street. It may have moved to 48th and storer I have no idea but original store was 44th. When I was around 9 or 10. I am now 66. That being said the new shop in Parma has kept the traditions of Rudy's strudels, nut rolls and bakery to perfection. Kudos.

Mr Jingaling was here today. He was singing the song from the show and my grandsons front teeth are gone. So he sang that song to him. All I want for Christmas ... James got a cardboard key as a keepsake. Such fun.

Rudy's has the best bakery around. The only problem is their difficulty getting good help. We were 10th in line less than 30 minutes after they opened. They only had 2 workers and limited selection. But still delicious and worth the wait.

Yum, yum yum! You know a place is good when you pick up fresh pierogis that are still warm. If you are in need of cookies and anything bake good related, this is your one stop shop! The smells are so wonderful as you walk into the bakery. The staff is super friendly and have the most amazing smiles, make me instantly feel so welcomed. You need to get there early for their food to go because it goes fast.

Customer service is horrible. They are rude. If you like being disrespected when asking a question for an allergy- this would be the place to go.

A Cleveland classic!! Best homemade bakery & pierogis around! There's a reason they've been going strong since the 1940s! If you haven't been here yet: Go!!

Perhaps Parma People Prefer Pierogies?! That's five Ps I learned by growing up in Cleveland with an Eastern European background.

I'm sure there's no less than 20 to 30 places to get pierogies around Cleveland, but some of the best can be found at Rudy's. I was happy that I was able to bring back a few packages when I visited a few months ago!

When I arrived back after the flight, my plan was to eat them as soon as possible. They held up very well so I sautéed them with garlic, cracked pepper, onion, salt, and of course butter. I may be a simple man as my favorite

Excellent bakery! The people who work here are always super friendly even during lent when it is really busy. They have really good sandwiches also. I highly recommend " The Polish Village ". The will even heat it up for you if you ask. The paczki are excellent ( trust me, I love a good paczki ) way better than the ones you get in the grocery store and way more choices of fillings.

Rudy's it's a staple in Parma and northeast Ohio! Polish bakery and it's amazing! The girl that helped me today(should've gotten her name, she's pictured) was so polite and patient with me. It was my first time there. I had sooooo many questions and she delivered! The other staff members were just as nice and there was a full lobby the entire time I was in there. Definitely check it out for yourself. I'll be back for sure

I've been waiting 3 years since the first time I tried a paczki. It was every bit as good as I remembered. Hough bakery paczki is my favorite. Visited today (paczki day) and it was packed but the atmosphere was so festive I didn't mind waiting. The ladies at the counter were the nicest. Loved this place and their product.

Great place - very friendly owner (Lidia).

This place is a great bakery. Reminds me of my childhood when my mom and grandma baked. So all my childhood memories just woke up. Definitely a must stop.

Our son is getting married soon and we thought it would be interesting to have some kolaches and cookies for dessert at one of the parties.

We held our own "taste test" - we stopped at five of the bakeries that had good reviews on Yelp.

Let the test begin-- #1 is Rudy's followed by Samosky's forget the rest.

Why Rudy's -- well good taste, tender (maybe some we tried

A friend of ours grew up ion Cleveland and asked his mother where we should buy pierogies to bring back to SF. She said to go here, and I am all about a little Polish lady recommending her favorite.

We took the 20 min drive to Parma to get them. I wasn't sure it was open b/c the parking lot was empty.

We got a very enthusiastic counter guy. He let us buy a few single Kolaski's (normally but the pound), and we got a cheese strudel (YUM, but really best on the 1st day). The nut strudel look tremendous , but it was our last day and there was no way we could polish it off, and it would
