Went in hopes it would look as good as the photos on here. The pizza I got ended up being undercooked and impossible to eat. My girlfriend and I can usually stomach a lot, but could not even eat one slice. The cheese was not melted and the toppings were under the cheese. May have just been a bad day for them. But ended up being an awful date for us.

I'm sorry but this experience was pretty bad. We ordered a Calzone and it ended up being undercooked, straight up raw pizza dough. I ended up cooking the calzone for 20 mins in the oven at home. The pizza could have also used another 5 mins in the oven as well but it wasn't raw.
The worst of all was the chicken wings, they smelled and tasted like fish. They were gray, and looked like they'd be cooked a few times in the fryer or left under a heat lamp for a day.
With all of the positive reviews left for this place we were excited to give it a shot but we won't ever come back there.

Excellent food! So happy to find such good vibes and great food so close to our place after moving here. Wings,pizza, salad, and calzones were all great. Pizza could be a bit more well done but I have specific taste and prefer a bit of char on my crust. The only reason it's not getting 5 stars is because of no delivery. Also, the staff is friendly and the place is very clean. We will be back often.

Best Pizza, hot subs, chicken wings and salads in Matthews and surrounding area. We order something different off the menu and never have been disappointed. Close to the bowling alley near Independence. They've been in business 13+ years. I've been there many times and will continue to feed my family on occasions. Great family owned business with exceptional service. Stop by for a tasty lunch or delicious dinner TO-GO.! Clean dinning room too.

I have been to Primavera Pizza a few times, my favorite is the Philly Cheese Steak it's so yummy! My mom got a stromboli and I tried a bite and it was tasty too. The owner does everything waitress, cook, cashier. Sometimes it takes a little while for your order, but I promise it will be hot, fresh and tasty.

Hands down one of my all time favorite pizza places... wish we were locals. The pizza crust tastes like authentic Italian pizza crust (from Italy) with the delicious American style on the rest of the pizza... the pizzas are thin and are in the NY style... they also make homemade ranch which is outstanding. Only negative is they serve Pepsi... some people will understand the struggle in that.

Gigantic calzone, not sure if this photo does it justice, but this thing is the size of my lumbar travel pillow. Stuffed with four types of cheese: mozzarella, provolone, parmesan, and ricotta. Garlic sauce + I requested to add spinach. Yummy. Marinara sauce on the side was amazing. Cannot forget to mention the dough being used, which is the same dough their pizza's made from. This is out of this world and its family owned and operated. Take it from someone that has run restaurants since college, this is amazing and family, kid friendly too and right up the street from downtown Matthews and independence blvd. Tried to order a pizza for delivery since we moved into a new house in the area and my daughter was under the weather. They were very nice on the phone and polite but sadly there delivery area stopped at the next road over. I explained it was only one road over but he said it was too far. Maybe we will try to go to the restaurant because I have seen good reviews of their food.

I went here not knowing what to expect. I thought it was going to be a typical pizza dining experience, some kind of takeout that I wasn't going to remember. The sign on be outside where they have the other store names just said "Pizza." I looked at the prices and I whispered to myself, "Yikes." Their pizzas were like $15-20 for a large one or two topping so I passed on that. I realized I haven't had an authentic calzone before
