We believe good food speaks for itself. That's why we create global small plates in a casual environment with one goal: taste without borders. We take our cues from our location: a building with midcentury modern charm; a bustling street in a growing city, and a dynamic, on-the-go demographic. And just like our community, our menu is constantly evolving.
Please call for reservations, or reserve online through Resy. Parties over 6 should call for reservations. Out of fairness and in keeping with our policies, we only seat complete parties. If you are not present within 10 minutes of your table being available, we must give that table to the party next in line.

Featured in Southern Living Magazine which stated they're known for seasonal American menus, so you wouldn't expect a Steamed Bun with Five Spice Pork Belly Sandwich to be on the menu.
A native New Englander, Chef Bruce Moffett fell in love with the South. Head of Charlotte-based MRG and founding chef of four restaurants-Barrington's, Good Food on Montford, Stagioni, and NCRED-Moffett is known for creating dishes inspired by both New England and southern culinary traditions.

Excellent food and even better service! The restaurant had tapas vibes as the food we ordered all ended up being smaller shareable plates. The flavor and presentation were both great and surpassed only by the service. We were helped by half a dozen different people as food was regularly brought out, drinks refilled, orders taken, etc. The staff here seem to work exceptionally well as a team and made their number one focus providing high quality, timely service to all diners. Having a meal here is not cheap but you get more than your money's worth between the quality of the food and the service

The small plates are amazing here, great portion sizes and very reasonable pricing! The Brussel Sprouts were a different and unique flavor compared to many others with a typical balsamic reduction. They were spectacular! The Falafel was another interesting presentation and delicious! The Korean Beef was also excellent! This restaurant now takes reservations! The service was excellent.

This place is really small but very cute & quaint. Small plates are the way to go & so is Good Food on Montford! Lovely staff that definitely demonstrate team work! We had the Garganelli, Octopus, Larry’s bun suggested by Craig our waiter. The must for dessert is the Chocolate pot du creme while sipping on a Candy Bar dessert martini!

I was not expecting such a great wonderful place to eat lots of small plates, so close to home. Good food on Montfort is da Bomb! My wife and I had a date night out and tried almost every dish on our night out and I will say this it was not cheap but it was wonderful. Well definitely go back there again, again, and again. It's a little hard to get into so make sure you have reservations.

The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Our drinks were never empty and our waitress made sure that everything was to our liking. The atmosphere is very nice! The plates are small as the menu is tapas style, but the waitress made sure to let us know before we ordered (thank goodness!). A great find in Charlotte!

Went back again during the current covid troubles. Distancing protocols in place; staff wear masks or shields; hand sanitizer stand at the door. Don’t forget your phone because only QR code menu available. Menu is abbreviated, but adequate. We were totally comfortable.
