Our group of 4 went to Rocksalt for the Queen's Feast dinner. We sat on the patio and were warm enough because of the nice big heaters going full blast - thank you. Our server was quite personable and we enjoyed talking with her. My first course was the oysters and they were delicious. The second course chowder was also very good. The main course shrimp and grits were just OK - nothing special. 5 shrimp on a grit pancake covered in a LOT of tomato based sauce. I'm not a fan of tomato based sauces ... so it would not be a dish I would order again. I enjoyed the oysters much more than any other aspect

The service was amazing. The heated outdoor patio was great and the atmosphere lacked nothing. Kat showed us a great time on our date night and even made sure we knew about the Thanksgiving meal to order and… because of her I will be doing so. it was our first time and as a Charleston girl I must say the oysters did not disappoint. I think I've finally found a great place for oysters in Charlotte after 15 years of living here.

I have to commend great customer service when it happens. Last night I left my bag of leftovers on the table Rocksalt Charlotte. I had half of my sides left & most of that huge piece of fish as I was already full from appetizers & drinks. Anyways, I immediately noticed it was left once home as there was nothing to put in the refrigerator. Called… the restaurant, spoke to the manager, Todd as I was on my way back up there for that yummy fish! The server saw the bag left but threw it away. Anyways, long story short the manager was super apologetic & told me to come back today

Table had the burger, whole fish, and crawfish cakes following the smoked trout and spread. Celia took excellent care of us. Food was awesome - only issue was outdoor area got hot and the crackdown sections have large windows so it didn't provide much relief from the sun. Dress cool if you plan to visit on a hot day.

I had been wanting to try this place for a while so we decided to go for mother's day brunch. The food was good, the service was terrible, the atmosphere inside was not great, and ultimately we left feeling disappointed.
We had a reservation and arrived right on time. The host seemed frazzled and was not friendly. We did not receive a greeting or any pleasantries. I asked to sit outside but she said they were full. Okay, fine. She began to seat us at a table right by the entrance, host stand, and bathrooms (why do you even have a table so close to these items?). I immediately asked to sit elsewhere

First time visitors. Fun, open atmosphere. Staff were all professional and welcoming.
We had house bread, smoked trout dip, 1/2 dozen grilled and a dozen raw oysters. Oyster shooters and a very nice grapefruit Radler for libations.
Food was served in good order and timing and was amazing.
Count on as regulars!
