Sterling property is the most unscrupulous, vile, and evil lease companies I’ve ever had the displeasure of getting in bed with. They have lied about the state of our rental post-move out, consistently pass me and my roommate off on other people because things “aren’t their job”, and have hidden behind their unwillingness to do the right thing in order to rob their tenants of more money.
They have accused my well taken care of pets of having fleas, charged me $150 dollars to spray, and yet have refused to provide proof other than saying “well the painters said they did”.

Horrid. Absolutely horrid. The stuff of nightmares. If I could leave 0 stars I would. From the very beginning this company was horrible to work with. If you’re looking for a rental LOOK ELSEWHERE or you will be consumed by poor property management and a hefty security deposit bill which is absolutely outrageous! Not only did they never respond to calls, and emails about needing maintenance to the home we rented, but while we were there we had several other issues. They sent roofers out who dropped a dumpster in front of our garage making it so we couldn’t get our cars out to get to work. They

Truly ongoing terrible experience. Worst experience in renting STAY AWAY.
Moved into a dirty, broken duplex and being charged for plumbing issues!!!
Master bathroom light fixture and hall light has been broken since move in. They ignore it. All screens have ripped and never replaced.
Maintenance is so slow. Garage door took a month for them to fix after telling me to watch a YouTube video.
Never checked on request to ensure they are completed.
They also do surprise maintenance bills!

We’re a military family and have had to rent through at least 5 different agencies in different states. We really appreciated the timely responses and helpfulness we received working with Debra. We were able to get the home we wanted in a timely fashion without feeling pressured to look at other homes. She even told us about a new listing that was not hers which really showed how much she was committed to helping us in our situation. Highly recommend!

I started renting a property with a different company and then the owners switched to this company with only a few months left on my lease. I received no notice that my property was under new management and was not charged rent for two months. A week after I corrected the mistake and was told I could make a payment plan, I was called and told I had better get them the rent in three days or I’ll be evicted.
Shortly after that, I began to receive complaints about my yard which had been great up until that year. The complaint was that it was overgrown, having not been cut after 4 straight days

Unfortunately, I did not read the reviews before leasing with this company.
The painting portion on the last page of lease encourages tenants not to do touch ups. They charged $617.25 to touch up paint in our living room, master bedroom, and laundry room. These touch ups would not warrant a full paint of the home.

I can never get a hold of the office , and the maintenance guy. It took them 2 months to fix a broken cabinet drawer. Took them 1 month to fix a switch. Last time I will ever rent from them and I will never recommend anyone to them. The maintenance guy lies a lot and tells you they’ll be out on a certain but never show up and will never call to tell why but when you call they get all rude about and lie again. Pathetic!!

1. They don't respond to maintaince requests
2. They take your deposit for them to complete renovations to the house. Left house with touch ups done with paint supplied with house. They took $1,000 out of deposit for painting and paint. This was clearly to re paint the entire house.
Have had a sterling home before without problems but seems something has changed in their offices recently.
Very disappointing. Would never use again and will tell all to steer clear.

Currently renting through sterling property management, worst company ever. I’ve had to call many times trying to get my garage door fixed. I’ve been almost 2 months without access through my garage door. When I first moved in I vacuumed out a Walmart bag of dog hair out of the carpet even though they claimed they had it cleaned when it really should have been replaced. The maintenance manager literally doesn’t know how to communicate. He started yelling and cussing at me for him failing to call me back after I had left him 3 voicemails. If you want anything done or repaired you have to call
