Our childcare facility caters to children six weeks to twelve years of age. We offer a structured preschool program that is designed to prepare your child for their future ahead. Our goal is to provide a fun and safe preschool learning environment while encouraging social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development.
We also offer an after-school program which includes homework help along with many fun activities to keep your child busy while expanding their mind. Our goal is to have every child in our care having fun and looking forward to coming back the next day. We want to provide parents with peace of mind, convenience, and support while you are away from your child.

My name is Jennifer Smith I am the owner and director of Jenny's Playhouse Childcare and Preschool. I have been married to my wonderful husband Bob for fourteen years. We have a sweet ten year old son and a bearded Dragon named Rex. Caring for children has always been my passion. I have attended several different colleges involving office management, computer program specialist, and Child Development.
I had never used daycare before and was very worried about having to put my children in one, especially with all of the horror stories I have heard! I am so lucky that I found Jenny's Playhouse. My kids love her, they have learned so much in the past 9 months they have been there. Jenny is very by the book which makes her daycare a very safe environment for children.
We know that good nutrition contributes to effective learning in children. Numerous studies have demonstrated that eating breakfast regularly will boost your child's ability to learn, to think quickly, to pay attention and even to get along with others. Children who regularly have breakfast in the morning solve problems more easily and are less likely to be restless or irritable before lunch.
Enrolling and/or reserving a future space for your child is simple. Contact us to schedule a time for you and your child to visit us. We will be happy to answer any questions that you may have. During your visit, you will have the opportunity to meet us and learn more about what we have to offer. This time spent gives all involved an opportunity to get to know one another and to make sure that all personalities mix well.
Are employees trained in first aid and CPR? Every person that is employed by Jenny's Playhouse has first aid and CPR and must renew it every two years. Are meals provided? We Provide three meals and two snacks a day. All the meals and snacks are approved by the USDA. Your child must be present at the time the meals and snacks are served or they must wait until the next meal or snack.
