Blakely FIT, best personal trainer in Chicago award winner is committed to improving the lives of women. We assess, create, support and inspire through one on one strength training, small group training and public speaking. As in any field, quality and professionalism varies from practitioner to practitioner.
Blakely FIT operates out of a sunlit, River North personal training studio tailored to the needs of clients working with trainers. Small group training takes place in our efficent, private training room. Clients are welcome to take advantage of our spacious locker room, showers and amenities included as part of training with Blakely FIT.
First, contact us and express your interest. We will promptly respond to answer any preliminary questions as well as schedule your initial Assessment. We then meet for an initial 60 or 90 minute Assessment at an award winning personal training studio in River North.
History, goals and concerns are discussed and a baseline of cardiovascular performance, wellness questions, weight, body measurements, before photos, flexibility, postural analysis and current exercise regimen are recorded.Blakely FIT creates a goals sheet and customized workout based on our clear understanding of the client's priorities and needs.

Training with Blakely Fit has impacted my life in the most positive way. I did the ‘Best of Both’ which includes small group training twice a week, and a one-on-one once a week. Coming from a collegiate athletic background I often found myself lost in the gym without a coach. Michelle taught me to be adept in the gym, and key components that support a healthy and fit lifestyle. The best thing about Michelle is her authenticity and drive. I had been putting off calling a trainer for years because of the cost. Everywhere I looked no one offered much for the price. Blakely F.I.T. Inc. offers such support and REAL personal attention. Whether you are in her Strength in Numbers or One on One you really feel like you are her only client. I have been with Michelle for 3 months now and I haven't felt this good about myself in years. I love Michelle at Blakely F.I.T.! I do her strength in numbers class twice a week as well as meet with her one on one once a week. She is always so encouraging and supportive. As well, she makes sure to ask me the right questions to see how I am really doing in my training.
I was always someone who never really worked out. As I grew a bit older, I noticed this having an effect on my body. I was fortunate to be involved in sports throughout my academic career. After graduating and entering the real world came "busy adulthood." I am so excited to write a review for Michelle at Blakely F.I.T! I spent 10 weeks with her and they were awesome- I learned so much about my own body, fitness information and tips, nutrition guides, etc! I have been someone who really has had to think about food intake and exercising my whole life and Michelle makes it not so freaking overwhelming! I went to see Michelle three weeks before a trip to Mexico in February. She has me feeling fit and confident in no time. I had only planned on a few weeks for my trip but I liked her so much, I continued going. Michelle provides a thorough, challenging work out that doesn't kill you or hurt you. I have a disc herniation and she was always cognizant of it and worked around it to ensure a safe, effective work out. She is also makes it fun and interesting. No clock watching here! AK

I've been working out with Michelle at Blakely FIT for a couple of years on and off. In that time I've seen other trainers for one reason or another, and also kept up and in contact with Michelle. In this last round of sessions with Michelle, I have really come to fully understand her expertise, professionalism and quality of training methods. To say the least, she's truly the best. The BEST.
