Angels Nails & Spa

This is my 3rd time trying to get a pedicure at Angels and they were closed at 4:30. How late does this place actually stay open?

Good experience with this shop and good prices!
But one more thing, I saw a comment from here- Karly M. - she gave a negative comment for a fake nail. As I know, this shop doesn't do fake nails or acrylics. Because I asked them before.

I love many things about this place: the close proximity to my house, their incredibly reasonable prices (in an area where prices are generally not so reasonable), the fact that they consistently do an amazing job, the most comfortable massage chairs, the atmosphere (it's super cozy), and how quiet it is. They only have 3 or 4 pedicure chairs and 2 or 3 spots for manicures. Every time I have been, I've been the only person there, or one of two people. New in the area, I was looking for a salon to be my "go to" place. I was the only person in the salon, and while the technician was very nice, the gel manicure I received was sub-par. It began peeling from the edges within a few days, and the tips began to chip in less than a week. I won't be returning.

I schedule an appointment for 10am Saturday morning. I sent an email to schedule and did not receive a reply until 10pm Friday night. The salon wasn't too hard to find but parking was a bit difficult. It was also a bit confusing once I entered the building- they need better signage to direct to the appropriate floor. Anyways, I get there for my scheduled mani/pedi. I explain to her that I would like a shellac manicure. She explains to me 1 hour is not enough time to do both because she has more appointments at 11. She tells me I can either get one or the other done or come back to do both

Pedicure, manicure - wonderful! Affordable :) Also, I didn't feel rushed or like I was in some sort of assembly line.

The first thing you notice about this place is how clean it is. I mean spotless, which is a welcome change from most nail salons. All of the manicurists I have encountered have been friendly and meticulous in their work. I actually showed up with for a mani/ pedi once 30 minutes before closing and they didn't just rush through it and slap on polish; it was still done right. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of an unfortunate lip wax incident. She took a little skin along with my fuzz and I while I won't return for that particular service but I will be getting my nails

Hubby and I decided to try this place on a Saturday afternoon. The ladies did such a great job, they listened to our requests (I'm picky when it comes to manicures and he likes a good foot massage) and finished in a timely manner. I really liked that they were not chatty, but they paid attention to the service.
Hubby's only compliant was that the hot towel could've been hotter.
We'll see them again in two weeks!

Lovely neighborhood nail salon. I've gotten a couple pedis here (always a walk in) and they've always been great! I love that they only use the pumice stone on my feet instead of trying to use a razor! I know other salons do it for convenience, but it leaves your feet a hot mess after a couple weeks. The ladies do a great job and the prices are very reasonable.

Called and schedule a deep tissue massage for 6 pm. This was a waste of time and money. I have had plenty of massages over the years and this was the worse one. Did not have me fill out forms for illness or injury. Did not ask if I had any trouble areas. She dressed very nice with long sleeve, hint see never used her forearms or elbows. She sat on the table while doing the massage, never applying any pressure. Used only oil not massage cream. Did not work spine or back of neck. Basically she just rubbed my body. She was nice, but other than that a complete waste of money.

I came here based on the Yelp reviews but they must have all been written by friends. I asked for a therapeutic massage and it was nowhere close. I kept asking to have firmer pressure but nothing changed. After 25 minutes I gave up. The massage therapist had 6 months of experience and she needed a lot more. I had to pay $32 for the half hour and it was a complete waste of money.

This place is a gem--almost reticent to share my positive remarks for fear that it will become much more difficult to get an appt!! Linda did my pedicure today. She was gentle, friendly, and my feet feel and look GREAT! They have a wide selection of polish brands and colors for those of us who want to get a little wild with our color choices. And the prices are VERY reasonable. I highly recommend this place!!

My friend and I were searching for a place nearby and found this place after the reviews on Yelp. We walked in and they didn't have any customers. They asked if we had an appointment, but no. (They highly advise it for next time). We immediately were serviced, but they seemed overwhelmed or in a rush- at first! I had a manicure and then eyebrows. They both turned out perfectly! Here they will make conversation with you and make sure your happy. My friend's pedicure turned out great as well and she was very pleased!

I took my mother to Angels - it was her first time getting a manicure or pedicure. We found it to be very clean, cozy and peaceful - we had comfortable chairs with massagers built in; the services were great and the staff very friendly. We had spa manicures and pedicures and both technicians did a great job. Linda even repaired a gouge I had made in one of my fingernails when we stopped back in a few hours later (we had left a sweater there). Prices were reasonable. I don't get my nails done often - only as an occasional outing with a friend - so the environment is very important to me

Tammy does a superior job on both your hands and feet. You will leave the shop knowing you have had the best treatment. I recommend Tammy to anyone who wants the best. Tammy is very friendly and you will laugh and relax the whole time you are there. Get the best in Northern VA at Tammy's. Faye ~~~~
