I've been in love with Academy Ballroom ever since I first walked through the door. Everyone there is so friendly and they really make you feel comfortable no matter what you look like, or no matter what shape you're in, literally whatever. Visiting Academy Ballroom is literally the highlight of my week. Love it there!!!

Everyone at Academy is professional, friendly and welcoming. The studio itself is huge and even has its own ballroom shop. The instructors are top notch and Academy's monthly parties are always high energy and fun. The owners are down-to-earth and you can really tell that they love what they do. Highly recommend!

The instruction was so great! I really felt like our instructor broke every step down to a level of understanding that made me able to learn the salsa/bachata moves easily. Honestly, was very impressed with teaching techniques. Everyone was very communicative when trying to sign up for classes and answered all my questions promptly!

I have two left feet and am a totally nervous Nellie; but today I danced a waltz, rumba, and the foxtrot. The Groupon got me started, and the deal is excellent. My first two group classes were low stress, fun, and well-instructed. The ballroom is expansive, well-ventilated and the instructors observed strict covid protection. My private lesson was taught by Vincent, a gifted dancer, with excellent intuition about where I get wobbly. No stress, all fun, and the more you dance, the more fun dancing is. Go.

My fiancé and I came to Academy Ballroom for 5 Private Wedding Dance Lessons w/ Rachael. We had so much fun! We learned so much more about each other and we didn’t even think that was possible. I learned to let go and he learned to lead. Rachael was a phenomenal teacher and we enjoyed getting to know her and also her getting to know us. We look forward to showing our new moves to our closest friends and family in just a few months!

My fiancee and I took private lessons with Rachael in preparation for our wedding, and she was wonderful. We were a bit nervous about whether the studio would be okay with us dancing with each other (we're both women) but they were completely supportive and accepting. Rachael clearly is very experienced and knowledgeable about ballroom, but she was excellent at breaking the steps down and explaining them to beginners. I did learn some cool waltz steps, but I also gained confidence in and comfort with my body, which I think was more valuable. She knew when to critique and push harder as well as

What an amazing studio with great instructors. I worked with Rachael Spencer to put together a routine for Dancing with the Stars - Cobb County. She was amazing and taught me so much. We competed this weekend and WON the Judges Choice Award. The thanks go to Rachael.
