A preventive program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions. Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet.
A comprehensive dental exam will be performed by your dentist at your initial dental visit. Examination of diagnostic x-rays (radiographs): Essential for detection of decay, tumors, cysts, and bone loss. X-rays also help determine tooth and root positions. Oral cancer screening: Check the face, neck, lips, tongue, throat, tissues, and gums for any signs of oral cancer.

From the time I walk in to the time I walk out I have consistently been given the utmost care by my Dentist and anyone on the staff. I remember filling out papers many years ago as what I had hoped for. That was to not do or bill me for unnecessary work on my teeth. They have followed that to a T. They are friendly and informative, and no waiting. No need to go anyplace else.

This was the review I put on the Covid Safe Central Iowa Facebook page this morning.
I have been a patient at Fleur Dentistry for over 3 decades. I had my regular cleaning there yesterday for the first time since the Pandemic. I am so proud of the job they do to keep their patients AND their staff safe. Prescreening questions 2 days before. Masks required. Don't bring extra people with you. Temp taken at the door. Hand sanitizer done inside door (required). Plexiglass up around reception area. Limited and spaced out seating in the lobby. Dental hygienist came out in fresh dental coat, hair all

I have been with Fleur Dentistry for three years and can't say enough good things about them. You never wait for more than 5 minutes to get into your appointment. They use many ways of communication to remind you about your appointment (text, email, call). The front desk attendants are always super friendly and the hygienists and dentist are very personable. The office itself is updated and clean - great atmosphere!
