So charming and cute. We just had a bowl of soup and some coffee but it was delicious and great to sit down.

Decent coffee served by helpful and courteous staff. A bit cramped at the tables especially during the age of Covid.
Pastries could be better too.
Convenient location.

As before the pandemic, the food is delicious and the prices very reasonable. Don’t pass up the baked goods because they are first rate. I also love the soups and sandwiches. It’s nice inside and warm and bright on winter days.

Costello’s Travel Cafe is a must-stop to eat!! Grab a patio table if the weather is nice. If not, enjoy sitting at a table in the warm and eclectic interior.
I ordered the Bacon and Berry salad with chicken. Phenomenal!! The chicken had a delicious herb crust, and the vinegarette was packed with flavor. I ordered an ice tea that was refreshing and tasty.
The staff was friendly, and the service was fast. I highly recommend Costello’s!!

This must be where coffee cakes go when they die! Had a nice breakfast sandwich and then also ordered some coffee cake to go. Tried a bite and immediately decided to instead eat the whole thing on the spot. Paired with a good old fashioned cup of Caffe Umbria coffee, black as a moonless night, everything was simply heaven. I hardly see decent coffee cake around, so I was surprised to see a variety that they make in-house! Plus, the whole staff were very friendly and welcoming. The baristas have amazing fashion sense. Thank you Costello’s for some damn fine coffee and even finer coffee cake! ðŸ

I am sure that as a whole the food is great. I used to love the quiche when this restaurant was under different management. But I have tried it three times in the last few months and have been very disappointed sorry to say. I don’t know what they did to the previous recipe but it’s not the same 😢

The best breakfast I’ve had in a while! The fruit + hazelnut waffle was delicious and we also ordered an omelette to share, the caramelized onions are a MUST! Best part of the entire meal!

Highly recommend - Ham Croissant, Quiche and Waffles
These are actually the only three things we tried on our first and only visit to date. Definitely visiting the restaurant again. The european theme in the restaurant is very evident with the music and TV visuals changing every week.
Its a little bit of european culture in the middle of Portland.
Definitely give it a try!
