One of my favorite places to get some matcha and hojicha soft serve. The flavors and texture of the soft serve is perfect. It's a nice coffee shop that has light snacks to enjoy. The people here are friendly and quick to get the order out. The interior has a nice calm feel to it.

This place is so cute and serves really nice drinks and pastries. I have yet to try any of their other food items but they look great. It seems to be a traditional Japanese cafe which I greatly appreciate and enjoyed experiencing. I highly suggest giving them a try.

Nice place. It is a restaurant as well. I just had some hot cocoa and read a book for a half hour, the music was good, new-classical. The place looks cluttered as you enter because they are selling a lot of stuff. The barista way over steams your milk (even if you tell them "not too hot please"). I would encourage the barista to try one if their own drinks that they had made... Way too hot. Very common mistake for baristas. They have wifi and the wooden tables and chairs and ceiling have a very pleasant look to it. Also I like their table decor.

Great ambience and appropriate, plus clean interior space. Went along well with theme and connected to the museum in its displays and sales of trinkets and kimonos. Love the food. Delicious samples of traditional Japanese snacks from modern examples. I would highly recommend the ic ed, matcha latte. It comes with frozen green tea ice cream, pieces of dessert like a brownie and a cute umbrella on top.
I would highly recommend this place to a friend and would be one of the first places I would bring visitors to Portland to see and eat for lunch! Service is great and they test for covet immediately
