DO NOT MOVE HERE!
The building is nice. The amenities are adequate, but the problem is their security or lack thereof. Multiple vehicle break ins occur regularly on their property and the street in front of it where they have their tenants park. 4x my car has been hit in the last three months. The complex has hired security but they do not work on Sundays. The thieves and vandals know this and simply smash windows on Sunday nights. I leave my vehicle unlocked and do not leave possessions in it but windows still get smashed. Other tenants have had the same issue. Nothing like spending $1600 per

Beautiful building and great location but don’t feel like I can resign my lease with the lack of security. Both my roommate and I have had car break-ins and we’ve only lived here for 6 months. Management does nothing to prevent this. Security that was supposedly hired is never on-site. No cameras on the building. Problem is so bad that the police department overly familiar with this street.

I couldn't be happier with my choice to move into Maxwell Lofts. Jennifer has been absolutely wonderful and all of my experiences during the application process, moving in and now living here have been great. Jennifer and Andre have been extremely helpful and are always very timely and responsive whenever I have an issue.

I’ve been living in the building since Miss June but I can easily tell you best decision I made since moving to Milwaukee. The building is in a great area & has great vibe to the city.
The tenants are nice & they all are pet lovers which is cool even though I don’t own a pet every tenants dogs are super nice & well trained.
The building manager is very professional. I like that her door is always open to tenants during business hours & she is very informative about the area & the building. She is very exceptional when it comes to handling tenant issues.
The maintenance staff is a one man

Crystal and Jennifer have made the viewing and application process extremely smooth. Such sweets gals. They have been accommodating even though they both have their hands full. They are doing a phenomenal job at getting back to me with answers to my many questions. Truly appreciated.
The property is well maintained and you are getting a bang for your buck. I viewed many properties along with Maxwell and it was an obvious choice.

Although there are some negative reviews, with new management (AKA Jennifer) & the new maintenance man things have really turned around.
The residents of the building are all genuinely wonderful people & the apartment units are very nice (albeit some are on the smaller size). Also, free street parking where there is ALWAYS a spot makes the rent price reasonable. There was a period where we were out of a manager (also was in the middle of COVID), but Jennifer has been wonderful and more than accommodating to any concern/need I've had. There are also reasonably priced AirBNBs within the building

The Maxwell Lofts are beautiful and they are made all the more so because of the the building's heritage. The building is an entirely renovated 100-year old factory. I also love that it is only blocks away from the river. Jenifer was wonderful and answered all of my questions about the neighborhood with great insight. She does a adorable pet of the month program too! I had an amazing time during my visit.
