After 28 years of service to Marin in San Rafael we moved to San Francisco in 2006 and continue to offer costume sales and rentals. What can I say? This place is at least unique, you won't find a lot of costume shops around, so I guess it gets a star for that...
However, the prices here are outrageous, especially for what you are getting. Many of the items in this place are second hand from Spirit stores, or just not in great condition. Something that would cost you 20 dollars brand new or online will easily run you two to three times the price here.
A pair of pants I found here for 50 dollars I had seen online, brand-new, unused, for 35 dollars.
This place is unfortunately a scam, that is unless you have cash to blow and

Rented a costume here for a party and the owner was great. She helped me find just the right stuff and was very easy to work with. I got a little tear in the pants and when I returned the costume I made sure to point it out and she said it was normal wear and tear and not to worry about it.
I'll be back to rent again.
