When our founder, Dave McLeary, left home in Ligonier, PA for West Virginia University in 1977 with a goal to receive his Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy, the field was still very "new". So new, in fact, that his high school guidance counselor first heard of it when he discovered it in his own research for a career that would combine his passion for sports, healthcare, mechanics, learning, and teaching.

In addition to traditional land-based therapy, our Latrobe location provides aquatic therapy in a custom-designed therapeutic poolone of the best tools in rehabilitation. Studies, along with our first-hand experience since 2000, have shown that aquatic therapy greatly facilitates accelerated recovery with less pain, allowing patients with weight-bearing limitations to improve at a quicker rate.

What a busy and delightful group of physical therapists and assistants at the In Sync in Ligonier. I was apprehensive about even complaining of my right leg weakness to my doctor and cringed a bit when Dr. Lauren Trimeloni recommended therapy. I actually followed through and am receiving excellent care/ therapy thru In Sync. Highly recommend...they know their stuff without being stuffy!
