Lorie and her team at Durango Vacation Rentals are so wonderful to work with. Lorie knows exactly what it takes to make the best out of your rental property for all parties involved. She helped w interior design ideas, and made access and transitions easy. I completely trust leaving my home in her hands, she makes sure all areas are covered as far as protection and insurance on my home as well as goes the extra mile to accommodate the needs of the renters all the while taking care of my needs as a homeowner. I don’t know their motivation or emotional state at the time, but their representation of the responsiveness, integrity and fairness of the good people at Vacation Durango is 180 degrees from the truth. Terrible experience as a vacation renter. Hostile, rude, almost childish to luxury customers. As a landlord myself, I would strongly recommend owners stay clear of this business. They will not represent your interests well and how no customer service skills whatsoever.
Constantly bombard customers with unhelpful and unwanted emails and phone calls (before and after the visit. Excluding actual important information, such as a 2 mile dirt road requiring 4-wheel drive vehicle for instance. Maintenance was scheduled during out stay with less than 24 hour notice. Complaints were met with hostility

In keeping with the other reviews, this company is unbelievable. Worst rental experience of my life hands down. Owner is rude, hostile, unhelpful, and insulting. Maintenance was scheduled during out stay with less than 24 hour notice. No discount was offered and complaints were met with threats of eviction. Lori was completely unhinged and downright juvenile in her need to exert her "power." This is totally unacceptable given the cost of this LUXURY rental, but really unacceptable at any price. Motel 6 gives better service. Also, there were the obscene number of emails and rambling unorganized

Booked the Curry Barn 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. When we got there we found only 3 bedrooms and two lofts and 3 bathrooms. When we called Lorie she told us that we had to pay more for the other bedroom and bathroom. Our rental agreement was for 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms which we didn't get. The old bait and switch. The water smelled horrible! I'll never ever use this rental company again and warn others not to!!
