So I really wanted to like them and support a local small business. However our interaction thus far with them has been a literal nightmare. My boyfriend ordered a bike for me from them that I've been wanting. A week goes by and there is no word on the shipment status of the bike. My boyfriend repeatedly calls until he reaches someone who tells my boyfriend he can go pickup the bike that night at what ends up being some apartments.

Original review sometime in 2016: Cheaply made bikes. Incompetent staff. Don't waste your time and money.

A guy named Vincent Vu who left a positive review on here is one of the employees at the company, I still have the email in my email box with his name :P i feel so petty writing this, but this my experience with these guys was truly horrific and when I saw Ary reply to me on here

Just took my new LA type 001 for its first spin. I should be arrested. It's a crime you let me have this bike for this incredible low price!!! The LA metro bike share bikes are a disaster on DTLAs streets but the LA just floats over the rubble, and every time I went to shift gears I put some muscle throttle into and realized I didn't need to. Accessible $$, sick with style, for still one of the best inventions ever. And thanks for all the pre-purchase help answering my silly questions. Loving this bike. You are my heroes!

Bought a black matte bike online from them and it arrived super quick in a nice box with all the components needed. I got a little confused with the pedal, but overall assembly was super easy!
This is my first time buying a fixie so i was a little nervous, but i am super happy with my purchase. I would not go back to a typical bike. A+++++ bike company!

Good team here at City Bicycle Co. Very knowledgable little guys and very good at explaining basic bicycle mechanics to regular dudes like me.
These guys definitely know their stuff, have a cool flagship bike for a great price. If you have the money to spend they have different models for different performances. Need a tune up? They do that too!

Bought my type 2 brand new from these guys back in April. Had my freewheel jam on me 3 times since then. I nearly ate the asphalt each and every time. City bicycle co did indeed replace it each and everytime reasonably fast, but I had to keep coming back to their warehouse or meeting up at some grocery store parking lot on my own spare time. After the third freewheel jam, I asked if I can get my money back and that request was ignored. City bicycle co reply was that they are getting a "better" batch of wheels and they will replace it as soon as they get it. They notified me about the
