Don't waste your time, the negative reviews are essentially what you're likely in for. I called to inquire about getting my electric Segway scooter repaired and was not impressed at all. The person who answered the phone, I believe his name was Mike, was very short, didn't seem to care and said you can bring it for a diagnosis (which is a paid service) but then essentially you're on your own to find and get the parts etc and then can bring it back for them to try an repair, if they have the time and room in the shop. During one of the most devastating surges of the pandemic, this business took no precautions that I was able to see. I actually went there to buy a bike and the guy behind the counter was coughing without a mask on. Maybe he's just a smoker, but I wasn't going to take any chances. Unfortunate because the bike in the window is what grabbed my attention.

Im a bicycle lover and so excited to find out that there are a electric bike shop in Sacramento area. However, my first impression was not what I expected. Looks like the reception guy wasn't well come the customers. I got the see if they can help me to find a bike that fit my riding style. Instead of that, he just kind of ignored me. No offer anything.

I was trying to find a place that could fix my electric kick scooter. I called ahead to make sure that's something they do. I was assured they could help. When I arrived they told me I would have to order the parts myself but wasn't told where to order them from or what to order. Ultimately, no help. My buddy had the same experience. He went in and they told him to order his own parts. They may be more helpful with other vehicles (that's why I didn't go one star) but not electric scooters.

A big thanks to the Electric Bike Shop for the repair on my husband's electric tricycle. Finding a repair place for an electric bike is a challenge--- just because a business sells electric bikes doesn't mean they can repair them we found out. The repair price was very reasonable, the staff was straight forward and now my husband can get around on his electric tricycle--thanks again!!

I have an electric bike that I purchased in Oregon. It started acting up, going off while riding, etc., when the bike was just out of warranty. Then, just as Spring arrived AND Covid arrived, it wouldn't turn on at all. Due to SIP I couldn't go to Oregon (I am over 60) to have it repaired by the dealer from whom I had bought it. I found the Electric Bike Shop in Sacramento online, and on our first trip out of the house, we brought it there. They felt, as well as us, that the battery was the problem. Just went here to get the hub motor/wheel and a PAS installed. I told them which way the wheel should be facing. Of course they put it the wrong direction. Cant even do a simple task.
Response to owner 12/13/17:
I told your mechanic that the motor wire was supposed to be on the same side as the derailer gaurd. Of course he put it the wrong way. It wasn't even worth calling because I would have to bring it back and I live over an hour and a half away.
I didn't need the whole thing to be put together. Just the wheel and the PAS sensor.
I didn't backstab anyone. I expect to get

I brought my son's E100 Razor scooter to Mike for warranty repair involving a damaged on/off power switch. Mike took care of the issue on the spot and I was on my way in no time. He was also very informative in providing some good maintenance tips to keep the scooter running efficiently. I would definitely recommend Mike and I will use him in the future when necessary. My sons Razor electric scooter breaks were not working. It may have had something to do with the fact that I tried to fix the tire myself and did not put it back together correctly. I tried to look it up on youtube and the internet but could not get them to work. I called and brought the scooter in on Dec 23, or 24th and I knew it may be a week or two with the holidays and all. I was surprised when I got a call on Dec 27th that it was ready to be picked up. The guy there ( I think Mike ) took the time to show me what I did wrong for the next time. Bought an electric conversion kit 2 years ago and had them install it for me. Was very pleased with the work.
Since that time they moved to their new location. New location is easy to find with good parking.
Stopped in today as I was having some trouble with the electronic control after a local Auburn bike store did a tune up on the bike. Jim, the mechanic at electric bike, made a quick diagnosis and repair. No cost, big smile, very friendly and absolutely great service.

I was greeted and offered test rides. This is great because shop is very near river bike trail with a hill to test bike on. I had done some research about electric bikes but owner of shop has all info and answers any and all questions. Love the bike. It is like riding an anti gravity bike. He had just moved into big new space that week and everything was topsy turfy. Must be organized and beautiful by now.

When shopping for my bike Mike answered all my questions and explained just how the bikes work along with the pros and cons of each model and brand. This allowed me to make an informative decision for a bike that fit my lifestyle and needs.
