Jacksonville Septic Tank Company is a family-owned business founded by William McInarnay in 1955. William became a charter member of the Florida Septic Tank Association in 1971, now known as The Florida Onsite Waste Water Association. Upon his retirement, the company was sold to his two sons Michael and Gerald, and Jax Plumbing & Septic Tank, Inc. was formed.
Michael McInarnay has been working in the septic tank industry for more than 30 years. He has served on the board of directors of The Florida Onsite Septic Tank Association for 20 years and is a past president as well. He has also served as an alternate on the RRAC (Research Review and Advisory Committee) for the Bureau of Onsite Sewage Programs.

A septic tank system uses natural processes to treat and dispose of the wastewater generated in your home or business. The system typically consists of a septic tank and a drain field, or soil absorption field. Your septic tank provides the first step in treatment. As wastewater flows into the tank, the heavier solids settle to the bottom to form a sludge layer, and the lighter solids, greases, and oils float to the top to form a scum layer.

Had to have a sewer repair / septic pumpout. So happy I contacted these guys. Not only did they give me a good price, they took the time to explain the process and what could be expected. These guys really know their business! Everything is running perfect now. Recommend to anyone.

Company name has Plumbing and Septic in it, after I had to supply then tools to help them with what they did accomplish. I was told that I needed to call a plumber, Your company names says plumbing......they couldn’t get the clog. Even the side of their truck says “We Do It All”. All must mean everything but plumbing issues. Never again!!!! I called and manager told me sorry for the false advertisement.... Sorry don’t get the job done. Now I’m in the same situation I started with but $250.00 less in my pocket.

It took me 2 weeks before anyone would even respond to me after leaving several messages. On my 3rd call I told them they must not want my business and that finally spurred them into action. William met us at our property to discuss installation of a septic system and was supposed to call us back. I have sent at least 5 texts and about 7 phone calls and he has not returned any of them in at least 3-4 weeks of trying to get our project moving. You would think this company would want the business but evidently not. So their loss will be another septic companies gain. I am not going to chase a company

We are so appreciative of Mike and the entire crew for helping us solve an issue we have had with our septic for 30 years. Mike went above and beyond our expectations and helped us with every step in the process. He was also very fair with the price and negotiating the terms of the contract. Every member of the crew that we dealt with was very professional and skilled in their craft. We highly recommend Jax Plumbing and Septic Tank Inc., and would definitely use them again in the future as the need arises. Thank you again for all your efforts and support!
