I first saw Renee Snyder in 2006 and last saw her in 2011. I first saw her because I had a negative reaction to an anti-aging product I had used on my face. One of the very first things she said to me was to wear sunscreen every day, showing me a Neutrogena product with Helioplex.
Since then, I took her advice, only now I have exclusively switched to mineral sunscreens containing a high percentage of zinc oxide.

I had a good experience seeing Dr. Snyder in 2019 but was incredibly disappointed to receive an email over 2 years later threatening to send an outstanding balance to collections. Upon receiving the email I immediately searched all my emails for any possible bill reminder which I did not receive one email notification of ever over the last two years. The only email I had was a receipt from when I paid upon leave the office. Yes- I understand after insurance reviews sometimes the amount due is difference. I have a difficult time understand how an office of this size would only communicate a bill

I went to Snyder Dermatology on the recommendation of my physician to examine a new spot. My insurance should have covered the visit.

Now, over TWO years later I receive a threatening email claiming I never paid my out of pocket cost and that it was going to be sent to collections. Of course I don't have the same insurance, nor did I ever receive an electronic bill or have any paper records of this mystery bill. Given I don't like surprise bills from visits over 2 years ago, I definitely will not be returning to Snyder again.

Unprofessional. Annual checkup appointment was made 1 year ago, doctor cancelled appointment with little notice because she is going out of town. Office said the nearest availability is 3 months. This is no way to treat patients. Time to move on where the respect is mutual.

I've been going here for a few months to get laser hair removal with Emily (the aesthetician) and I can't recommend her and the service enough. She does a great job and is very kind and professional, and I'm in and out in just a few minutes each visit. I looked around to compare prices and these are in my opinion great prices for the service, especially in a bigger city. Sure you could find something a bit cheaper going to one of those laser spas, but do you really want to trust anyone other than a certified technician at a doctor's office with a laser on your skin?

I was able to schedule an appointment very quickly so I had high hopes. But from that moment on I have had only unpleasant experiences. I showed up for my appointment and the doors were locked. 3 other patients and I were locked in the anti-room and luckily one of the other patients had a phone number to "call his girl" because I could see no one through the glass to get their attention. So finally someone comes down. Dr. Snyder was on leave which is fine and another doctor was filling in but her bedside manner was lacking. She removed a mole and had it sent for biopsy which was what I wanted.

Emily who was my aesthetician refuses continue to give me treatments due to me calling management just twice. She said she no longer feels comfortable which is odd. She probably know what she did was wrong. (Below)
I complained about the laser hair removal treatment in combination with microneedling which is a big no.
She also wanted to see me for laser hair removal 3 weeks later after my second or third treatment. You should wait 4-6 weeks.
I will no longer be getting my Botox there either due to this.

Horrible customer service. I was a patient of Dr. Parker's and she was perfectly fine, but the office administration is awful. Every time I had an appointment, there was some issue with my referral that they would notify me about less than 24 hours before my appointment. Two times, I had an active referral, but they just didn't have a physical copy of the letter, despite the fact the referral status is accessible to them. This past time, my referral did lapse--they notified me less than 24 hours. After calling my primary care physician's office, who assured me they would have a referral

Would NOT recommend Dr. Snyder. She has no concern about her patients & has a terrible bedside manner. The office staff is not much better.

She prescribed me two lotions & had zero concern about my reaction to it or the fact that my skin was worse at my follow-up.

I have been seeing Dr. Snyder for 8 years now. She is hands down the best dermatologist I have ever seen. I appreciate her direct no nonsense manner and her overall approach to aging. She is always one to err on the side of "less is more" and has countless times advised me against something I was inquiring about because she felt it was simply too soon. I truly trust her opinion and approach. Anytime I have come in with a dermatological issue her recommended remedy has always worked on the first try. I would never dream of seeing anyone else. Dr. Snyder is my end all be all

Dr. Parker is absolutely incredible. I have seen her for an in-office cyst removal at just the cost of my co-pay. She was gentle and kind and the surgery went incredibly well. I have had cysts removed from other physicians in the past, but Dr. Parker surpassed my expectations. I have also seen her for eczema and skin irritation issues and she always sends me away with soothing words and soothing creams. I highly recommend her for any dermatological needs.

BEWARE! I have a long story, but it is important to know what type of office you are dealing with. I saw Dr. Synder last year for a new patient exam. She took a biopsy on a lesion on my chest. The pathology report cam back as a squamous cell. She then referred me to her associate, Dr. Diedert. Dr. had told me that they would do Mohs surgery in the area to keep the scar to a minimum. Before my surgery appointment I received a call from Dr. Snyder that Mohs was not medically indicated. I was relieved because in my mind I assumed that the surgery would then be less invasive. Boy was I wrong

If I wasn't locked into a treatment program we would not comeback. The clinic did not handle the loss of Dr. Tessa Cervantes gracefully. No proactive work was done to move records or reschedule appointments. We ended up waiting six weeks to get back in to see a new doctor. In that time our prescriptions could not be refilled. The treatment will now take a month longer and the outcome could be compromised. Very poor office management and getting prescriptions filled correctly has been a nightmare.

I have never gone to this location, however I do want to give a review for Dr. Mary Parker. She was my dermatologist in Houston, TX . I was very sadden that she moved back to Austin, TX that's why I'm giving the 4 stars. She is the best dermatologist and so kind, she was always very straight forward with me, which I love, I mean just tell me what's wrong with me so I can fix it right! Anyway she's awesome and if you go to this location you should request to be her patient because she is that great and I am low key jealous that Austin, TX people get to have her as a doctor :

I have been going to Dr Renee Snyder for several years. This year I had a discolored area on my face and Dr. Parker did a biopsy. The biopsy came back negative but Dr. Parker wanted to re biopsy. It came back melanoma in situ. I had the Mohs surgery with Dr. Dietert. It was extensive. I was fortunate to have Dr Ned Snyder perform surgery to close the incision and he and his team did a beautiful job. If Dr. Parker had not wanted to re-biopsy, I might have had a very serious outcome. Needless to say, this is an amazing team. The follow-up has been outstanding by Dr. Ned Snyder and his PA Jen Bader

Dr Aranda is extraordinary. My wife and I both came in with what we thought was a viral infection on out skin, after seeing 3 different doctors. It turn out we both coincidentally have the same rare allergic reaction to shiitake mushrooms, which we had eaten the week before. Dr Aranda figured this out in about 10 minutes despite the fact she and here partner had never actually seen it before, Amazing! We were so relieved. Doctor Aranda obviously has a passionate devotion to her work and that just the kind of person you want on your side when you are dealing with a problem. I cannot recommend here

I am SO, SO grateful I found Snyder Dermatology and Dr. Jennifer Aranda. I have seen multiple Dermatologists in the Austin area and none compare. I have worked with Dr. Aranda on ongoing issues and uncommon skin conditions and her level of care and attention is incredible. I have never felt embarrassed or like my concerns were not valid. Every visit, her priority is making you feel better and making sure your skin and body are as healthy as possible. Even when she has a full schedule she gives you 100% of her attention and is always extremely sincere.

Not to mention, she is a PRO at non-invasive

I was told I owed $80 and being skeptical after never receiving a bill for a service rendered 1.5 years ago I asked for a bill to be sent to my new address. I never received one and was sent to collections. When I told them I had a workmans comp claim they doubted me and told me there was no way that I could have a workmans comp claim for this incident because of its nature. Seriously? Do you think that after 1.5 years of not paying for services and using my workmans comp claim number that I would magically not have a claim? HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Dr. Snyder is extremely unprofessional. She is not rude by any means but she pays zero attention to what comes out of her mouth and frankly I don't think she cares (apparently im not the only reviewer who noticed this).

I went in for Botox injections for hyperhidrosis and was told that they did in fact accept my insurance. When I went to pay they told me they could not file an insurance claim because it was a cosmetic procedure.

I then informed them that although it is a cosmetic procedure and it is not typically covered by insurance companies, my insurance company did cover the procedure
