Services
A few years ago the Flesch brothers purchased a portion of the Eichmeyer family farm positioned on the river bluffs near Marthasville, Missouri. The property had a circa 1870's farmhouse and several other structures that were uninhabited for quite some time. Initially the brothers took to the land, clearing and establishing the vineyards on the property.
The perfect place for an enjoyable day with friends and family. With its open-beamed ceilings and large tasting counters, Lake Creek has one of the most appealing Tasting Rooms in Missouri's wine country. We offer a personalized, one-on-one service during the week, and a lively and happening atmosphere during the weekends.
Lake Creek Winery offers the very best of Missouri Wines with attention given to producing wines that stand the test of time and pay homage to the regions German heritage. To ensure we have something for everyone we have also traveled to California to hand select the best fruit to offer our guests exceptional wines from that region.

Excellent burger, good price on the flights and an awesome view. It's far enough away from STL that you don't have to deal with tooooooo many of the snoots.

Drove out of our way to come here. Was told they weren't open but we could buy bottles even though their hours on Google say they opened at 11. When I politely suggested they make sure their hours get corrected on Google I was met with excuses. Unfortunately for the girl working I manage this kind of thing for a living for small companies. When I said this, the girl continued to make excuses. This is something I, as customer that definitely knows better, wants to hear. Admittedly I became curt with her and said, I know that it isn't hard to keep Google hours updated so making excuses and just say

This winery is obviously growing in popularity and accommodations to enjoy an afternoon. Wine tastings are $1.00 a piece and they have food. Entertainment most weekends.

Decent wine, awesome view from their deck, good appetizers, HUGE burgers, and great band. Music was a little too loud. They serve the wine tasting at your table. That's completely different from other wineries.

We sat for a very long time without drinks or waitstaff. When we eventually got service, the only thing good was the pretzel. No updates as to why nobody came to serve us. Would not recommend.

Wonderful view, decent wine selection, but the food. The smash burger was phenomenal!! It is definitely recommended!! And the prices were reasonable. This was also the 5th stop of our wine touring. And I left with a happy full belly and 2 bottles of whine to take home. highly recommend!

Great place. Enjoyed the wine (Farmhouse Red) very much. All the wines I tried were good. I also liked the Pinot. Its a beautiful setting on a river bluff with a great outside venue. The staff were very welcoming and knew their product well. There was live music that added to the ambiance. This is definitely a place to add to your winery tour list!

For those of you that are locals there is nothing better than going winery hopping on a nice bright Sunday. We had some folks from out of town, it was nice so we did just that. We decided that we would forgo our typically winery stops and make this an adventure for everyone.. so we tried something new.
This place is a little out of the way from your typical wineries, but still in the same general area. Fun Fact: It shares a fence line with Daniel Boone burial site and farm. (Look up the weird story with that burial if you want a wiki hole to fall into.) You will go up a gravel hill to what

The pretzels and bier cheese was ok. Pretzel was a tad hard and the cheese was jalapeno spicy which I liked but the menu did not mention this.

The grilled cheese is not really what you think it would be. It's basically their spinach artichoke dip on toasted bread. It gets the bread all soggy. The chicken was ok on it.

The asparagus was really good. Nice seasoning and char from the grill.

The view and atmosphere is pretty cool. Not a huge hill top but lots of places in the shade to sit.

You are outdoors, but the wine is great and service is awesome. They have heaters and fires to keep you warm and this evening a mulled spiked cider that is awesome- even if you're not a cinnamon type spice fan. 💗 Would come here again hands down.

What a find. Ken, the owner, was onsite; he was very hospitable and led us through a tasting of their delicious wines. The setting is very charming and the house beautifully refurbished. Now, the best part - the food. The food was fresh farm like food and the seasonings were complex. This chef knows his craft. Think of this place as a destination winery and eatery.

Lake Creek Winery is one of the better wineries on HWY 94. Great views, excellent wines compared to the HWY 94 wineries. Some of their products are from Lodi for those folks who do t like the Missouri chambercin Or Norton grape. Great proprietors and staff too who appreciate their customers. Decent menu selection as well.

We had a delightful dinner at the Lake Creek Winery. We arrived late (our fault, used the wrong GPS directions) but because we had phoned ahead, they kept the kitchen open for us. The food was good, the staff was friendly and attentive. We watched a beautiful sunset from the patio. The evening was top notch!

Best food at any winery hands down. This place could stand on its own as the best restaurant in the area but it's also a great winery. Patio drinking and dining with a band and breeze. What could be better? Maybe the bier cheese that comes with the pretzels. Is amazeballs a real word? If not it should be to describe that cheese. When I travel to the area this is my favorite place to have a bottle (or two) of wine and some appetizers or a meal.

Such a gem! Fantastic patio. Good wines, especially for Missouri!! German entrees and charcuterie are yummy. Friendly staff. Excellent relaxing weekend retreat from the city!! Live music on Sundays. Today's music was one man with a deep voice and a guitar. Great background music, not overwhelming. Only warning: don't try the driveway with a low riding car, park at bottom and wait on the golf cart pick-up.

Great winery stop! The brothers were accommodating for our 20 person group. We called weeks in advanced, and honestly forgot to call them two days ahead of time like they requested (really sorry about that one!) but they were very low key about us showing up. They had two guitarists out on their *heated* porch! From our party, the BLT was a hit-the bacon was so thick we questioned how it could be bacon. The pretzels and cheese were also a favorite.
The wine selection was perfect - not so many you couldn't decide. And for the tasting you were able to select three and keep the glass!

This is a beautiful winery up upon a hilltop with a great view. They have a golf cart that will even give you a ride from the uphill parking lot which is a BIG bonus! It is a full service winery which is hard to come by with friendly wait staff for your every need. Tasty food and good music to top the experience. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I like sweet wine and their sweetest is more of a semi sweet. This was a disappointment considering this wonderful new find of a winery:(

I have been to pretty much every single winery within 2 hours of STL and this one is one of the top two, along with Holy Grail (in Augusta). Lake Creek is so far above the rest in quality of wine, food, and tasting room ambiance and service that I highly recommend skipping all other wineries and simply coming straight here (with a pre or post stop at Holy Grail). Their food is as good as the best restaurants in STL - fresh ingredients, perfectly made pastas, a Russian - inspired flair, and perfectly blended flavors. For Russian-inspired, try the Stroganoff (it's as good as in St. Petersburg
