A love for wine and a passion for the history of the area helped turn the dream of owning a vineyard into a reality. Four varieties of Missouri grapes; Chambourcin, Traminette, Norton and Vignoles, were planted and now grace the hills of the estate. Since opening, Noboleis has expanded both the vineyards and the business.

What a fantastic gem of a winery! Large tent with a numerous tables in shaded spots. No pets, but you’re allowed to bring picnics to enjoy while listening to live music. The bathrooms were spotless, the wine delicious, and was able to sit away from other groups easily. Social distancing is not a problem here! Several families brought along children - lots of space for them to play and have fun.
My friend and I tried three Vignoles wines in Augusta and this was the best wine of the three. Will definitely come back to enjoy this wonderful place.

Really like the red wines, very full bodied and dry. Good views and outside food allowed. There’s a sign that says no pets allowed but definitely saw at least one dog there - not sure if it was a service dog or something. Favorite was the reserve Norton, but reserve cuvée and reserve melange were really good as well. $6 for regular tasting of 4 wines, $9 to upgrade to reserve wines. I guess they don’t let you keep the glass anymore like they used to but at least they are still doing tastings during Covid (some wineries aren’t).

One of the smaller wineries. Has good views over the rolling hills and the small vineyard nearby. The best part about Noboleis is the way they do their tasting. Opposed to serving you tastes at the counter, you pick four, they pour them, and then put them on a custom serving paddle for you to walk around with. Gets you right outside to the nice view.

A great winery stop on the Augusta Wine Trail. Lots of pretty views here of the vineyard and valley. The women serving were so friendly and welcoming! There are many seating options including inside, outside, and in a heated tent. The tasting itself is less involved, more brewery style - wines placed on a paddle and you can take it wherever to drink it. I liked the wines, my favorite was the Moscato (I love sweet wine). The special wine, maple bourbon, was awesome and an amazing deal when included with the $8 tasting and the bottle is $79.

This was our favorite winery and we had belonged to the wine club at one time, although over an hour trip for us. At our last visit we went in knowing what we wanted to buy but wanted to taste before purchasing. We know different years can change the taste. We were told the only way we could do that was to buy a wine flight, which was fine. It cost us $9 for 4 wine tastings and was disappointed that the servings were about the size of a tasting. We'll probably not be making the drive any longer.

Although we live near Augusta it had been years since we've visited a winery there. I did some research to try to find a nice one that allowed you to bring your own food and had beautiful views, and ended up at Noboleis. We were not disappointed! They had a generous wine-tasting package, (love their wine glasses to take home). The view was exactly what I was hoping for. The weather was gorgeous. We're planning a return visit when the leaves turn. Can't wait to come back. Absolutely perfect!

Loved the property, vineyards and sitting area is beautiful with a great view. This place has the potential to rival Montelle, but unfortunately there are a few major drawbacks. The workers (perhaps owners) we're not entertaining or talkative. It almost made the wine tasting awkward because they sat there and waited for you to finish your wine, as though they were just ready to get you through and make the next pour. Their prices are higher than Montel, although they do let you bring in your own food, which is a positive. They're dry whites were pleasant, although I found myself relatively

My fiancé and I decided to go wine tasting in Augusta with no real agenda. We stopped by this place and were informed on the member deal and benefits and couldn't say no.
The employees here are engaging, friendly and truly know their wine. As a novice wine drinker, I found them super helpful and informative. It was the perfect mix of a family run winery while being big and fun.
The wine there was delicious and super affordable. My fiancé and I prefer dry wine, which is not common in STL, but Noboleis has a fantastic selection.

My fiancé and I visited noboleis this past weekend and we had a wonderful time doing the wine tasting where you pick 5 wines of your choice and sharing a bottle of the dry vignoles in their beautiful outside seating area. Compared to other wineries in the area, Noboleis has our favorites including the dry vignoles and the baril de blanc. We also were looking for a winery that we could join as members and receive wine every quarter and discounts. Noboleis offers this and we were so excited to join and receive the many perks of this program.

I brought my family to Noboleis for an enchanting afternoon when I redeemed my 2013 MO Winery Passport at Noboleis a couple of weeks ago. We scheduled a tasting and tour for 8, but then found out some family were coming into town and hoped to get together with us. Just a couple of days before the reservation, Noboleis added another tasting to our reservation and three more people (non-wine drinkers) to the tour. I appreciate how accommodating they were in doing so.
We took up most of the counter, which made for a memorable and intimate family tasting. Some were dry fans, some were sweet and some

My guy and I loved our afternoon at Noboleis Vineyards. The staff was great, as was the Dry Vignoles (the only wine we tried -- and loved!). Sydney gave us the opportunity to save a few $$ with a Groupon before our final purchase of two bottles and some pizzas.
Noboleis thankfully offers a gluten-free crust, so I enjoyed the Goat Cheese Margherita. My man had some sort of meat lovers pie, which looked awesome.
The atmosphere was cute and comfortable. A great time here.. will be back when the weather starts behaving.

In business three years now, Noboleis has a wonderfully diverse selection of whites, reds, and rosés spanning dry to quite sweet.
FACILITIES:
A small-ish but brightly lit tasting room that (apparently) fills up during summer and busy months. I'm told that during that time they also pour outside as they have live music and a tented seating area. Indoor seating is limited and tasting at the counter is standing only. Gravel parking at the tasting building.
SERVICE:
Big caveat here--we tasted in the dead of winter on a weekday. For a while, it was just our server, the vintner and his apprentice
