Jinyoung Kim, DMD, is a native of South Korea and is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a BS in Biology, as well as a DMD from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in Lexington Kentucky. As a passionate Lexington Kentucky Dentist, Dr. Kim provides a full range of restorative dental services, including fillings, crowns, implants, dentures, as well as cosmetic dentistry.

On schedule. Actually, they were running ahead, so I was thrilled when they called me back early. Virtually no time wasted waiting in the chair. Quick appointment and absolutely great work by the Hygienist and Dentist. I don’t really want to share publicly my great experience because you review readers will likely be competing for my next appointment time, but they earned the praise!

I had a filling fall out on a Sunday afternoon. We were new in town so I did not have an established dentist yet. On Monday morning, I called four other dentists with no luck until I reached Park Hills. They listened and got me right in. The insurance info took a little time because we are military and it’s always complicated, but they kept me comfortable and informed all along the way. The staff was very professional and friendly, and Dr. Oberst was amazing. She was so patient and calming, which was wonderful because I get terribly stressed at the dentist. My appointment was my first at this office, everyone was amazing and super friendly. I got taken back in a very timely manner. Maggie was my hygienist and was AMAZING. Park Hills Family Dentistry is a great place to go. I have been going there for over 20 years. They are all friendly and professional. Dr. Kim is great and her staff is super efficient! PHF Dentistry was excellent from start to finish! I recently moved to the area and they were able to both quickly register and schedule me for an initial appointment. I hadn’t been to a dentist in two years, and they great care to clean my teeth and explain everything to me. They were extremely personable and professional, and I had full faith in their expertise and what they advised or shared with me. The facility was very clean and I felt comfortable in it from the waiting room to the dental chair. I’d highly recommend them to anyone either new to the area or just looking to change to a wonderful

I had a terrific experience recently at Park Hills Dentistry. Drs. Kim and Oberst along their team were professional, gentle and really listened to me. I had two separate procedures and each dentist performed one. I got excellent results with minimal discomfort. I would wholeheartedly recommend this practice.

I loved Dr Sutherland, but unfortunately did not feel that the communication was the same once transferred over to the new dentist. I feel like she recommends a lot of unnecessary work. I had an issue with a crown and was very upset about the lack of service and communication I was experiencing. The last time I was there the very nice hygienist asked if he would like for me to get the dentist to discuss my complaint, but at that point I decided that if she wasn’t professional enough to come speak to me personally, it was time to go elsewhere.
