I welcome people who "march to a different drummer" - artists, activists, restless corporate executives; parents at odds with cultural pressures, gay individuals striving for meaningful lives in the shadow of homophobia. One key belief which has shaped me as a therapist is that the full development of each person is a condition of the full development of all.
Dr. Lance has 25 years of experience in the field. His graduate degrees are in counseling, marriage and family therapy, clinical psychology, and general psychology. He also has an undergraduate degree in religion. His major focus is helping individuals, couples, and families improve communication, enhance self-esteem, and work through life-limiting blocks to greater happiness and fulfillment.
Dr. McArthur holds Diplomate Status from the American Board of Professional Psychology and has served two terms on their board. She has two Masters Degrees in Art and Psychology, a PhD. in Clinical Psychology and has been President of the Independent Psychotherapy Network since its inception in 1994.
Dr. Miller is a seasoned psychotherapist with over 30 years of experience in private practice. He received a Postdoctoral Fellowship at L.A. County-USC Medical Center, specializing in adolescence and families. Later he was the Director of the Psychology Training Program at the Airport Marina Counseling Service for 20 years.
