Scottsdale Gastroenterology Specialists is working through Reliance Research, an Arizona-based clinical trials site focused on gastroenterology interventional trials. The mission of Reliance Research is to collect essential data to advance gastroenterology care. The VIVID-1 study is currently enrolling individuals 18 to 80 years of age who have been diagnosed with Crohn's disease (CD) for at least 3 months.
Scottsdale Gastroenterology Specialists (SGS) is one of the first Valley practices to offer FibroScan to assess liver health and support early detection and management of liver disease. Liver disease, such as nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), is associated with obesity, insulin resistance, diabetes, and other metabolic risk factors.
First time patients are asked to bring pertinent medical records, referral forms (when required by insurance), test results and a list of current medications. As a courtesy to other patients and to our staff, please call in cancellations at least 24 hours in advance. Below are instructions for some of the tests performed by Dr. Jaffrey Kazi.
Anorectal Manometry - Anorectal manometry is a test that is performed to evaluate constipation, fecal incontinence, and other rectal disorders. It measures pressure, reflexes and sensation in the rectum. The procedure helps your doctor evaluate the cause and determine the correct treatment of fecal incontinence or constipation.

Now let me start by saying- I have to be extremely mad in order to post a negative Yelp review about a company. But with this company I have no problem doing that!!
I have never in my entire life experienced something so unprofessional. I had my very first appointment with them, and it got rescheduled THREE TIMES. So I finally make it to the appointment, went well we discovered I have Crohn's disease. I have been in pain ever since June with Crohn's and really needed to get colonoscopy. So we make an appointment. A week before my procedure they call and cancel on me! I'm irritated

1. The receptionist was very rude and passive aggressive when calling
2. I arrive on time and am told the dr is running 2 hours late. A simple text would have been appreciated.
2a. Almost forgot, the receptionist was blaring religious talk radio. After not eating or water the entire day, it was def enough to give a headache.
3. I have a Wex insurance card with $500. I wanted to use that and gave specific instructions to charge $291 and $499 on the Wex so I can discard the Wex. She didn't listen or care about my request and charged $400 on the Wex and the rest on my

It is unfortunate that I have to write this as I had been recommended to Dr. Kazi and spent significant amounts of money and time at his practice. I was extremely disappointed in my experience, waiting for over an hour past appointment times, rushed appointments when I did finally see a doctor, no real interest in helping me find a solution, lost lab test results, and no refund for the lost tests. The doctors did not even call me to share back with the results of other tests that were not lost- I had to google how to read the report. I will never go back to this practice and would not suggest wasting

Horrible.
The office staff screens phone calls, and will send your calls to voicemail and then never call back. Even after telling them you have GI bleeding.
The office waited 5 days to tell me I had c diff. And when they did call me to give me the results, they called at 5 pm on a Friday, after all the drs had left the office, so I couldn't get any questions answered about it.
Over 2 years, Dr. Kazi put me through A MILLION tests with extensive prep (all to make more money for himself of course) and never could give me a definitive answer for my issues, or offer any treatment. On one
