Engaged couples: Look no further for the venue of your dreams.
From start to finish, working with the Nassau Inn was incredible. I signed my contract pre-Covid and we needed to reschedule 2 times. They couldn't have been more accommodating as we navigated those challenges. The planning of the wedding was organized and stress-free. With many thanks to Jaime for helping to keep me calm and offering suggestions when I was uncertain about different decisions. I'm so grateful for her.

Stayed here for a wedding I was in. Staff was mostly friendly, food was good as well. The location is really what you stay here for. It’s smack dab in the center of Princeton’s campus, and is surrounded by tons of shops (mom &pops as well as high end chains. The rates were reasonable and the parking was convenient and affordable (discounted rate at a garage a half block away.

I travel often. We had a family wedding here this past weekend and it way exceeded our expectations. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating, and went above and beyond to any of the guests with any special needs etc. The food was excellent. My bed was so comfortable I didn't want to check out The hotel is historic and has such wonderful charm. The Christmas decorations were the icing on the cake, its like a little hallmark town. And the Yankee Doodle tap room had the most delicious truffle fries and burgers. Can't wait to go back. Clean, comfortable and charming. Wonderful

Stayed here 2 nights for a wedding. Had never been to Princeton before.
Rooms and bedding definitely were on the cleaner side. I have severe mite and pollen allergies that were not aggravated at all.
Area around the hotel was very nice. Walkable with coffee options, restaurants and shops to kill time.

The only thing good about this hotel is it's location. They had the perfect opportunity to renovate this hotel over the last couple of years, like quite a few of the hotels that I've stayed in. The exercise room is a joke.. if you have three people exercising at the same time, then it would be crowded. There is a lot of construction going on in the area so be prepared for more traffic and noise than usual.

Location, location, location. The Nasau Inn is in the center of town, an easy walk to many locations. Helpful friendly staff. Pleasant rooms (windows that open!), usually ready by noon; elevators that seem to be waiting for passengers; quiet and safe. The Yankee Tap Room has interesting beers on tap and decent food.

It doesn't get any better. The location is excellent & the updated rooms make for a comfortable night's sleep. I stay when I am in the area because the parking garage setup is so convenient & the location near the University and all of the shops mean you don't have to hassle the driving.
It's a historic place and the bar sports a casual vibe along with deep history and a famous mural.
The staff is attentive and especially the from desk which is the best group on the eastern seaboard.

Please don't stay here. They use Covid as an excuse to offer no service. What kind of hotel doesn't even have coffee available in the morning? At the prices they charge for what you get, other than location, they should be ashamed of themselves. Rooms are outdated and musty. Staff seems to be coasting. Next time will try Peacock Inn.

We stay here every time we want to have a little vacation without going too far. It's so reasonably priced and placed right in the middle of town. There are so many fun restaurants, stores, and great cafes around you. Also fun to walk around Princeton Univeristy. Great spot to stay at, and they allow dogs which is great.

We spent 1 night at the Nassau Inn recently and it was an okay (but not very memorable) stay. You are basically paying for location and convenience to the school and downtown. The biggest takeaways for us were 1) the overwhelming smell of the dining room / restaurant kitchen way up in our hotel corridor (kinda gross) and 2) the annoying sound of the ice skates on the fake rink that our room unfortunately overlooked. Fortunately this stopped early in the night otherwise no way could we have slept! Pillows were unusually firm but king bed was comfortable. Room was well appointed and clean. We did

Very convenient place to stay when visiting Princeton. Within walking distance of restaurants and quaint shops and the university. Clean rooms, could use some updating. Convenient parking garage down the street (for $20).
The restaurant/bar on the ground floor is historic, great breakfast! If it's nice weather you can eat safely on the outdoor patio.

We had our rehearsal dinner at the Nassau Inn, I was a little leery at first when we had to pay 300.00 simply for the privilege of eating on the patio.
But he food was delicious and well presented and the servers and staff were nice and accommodating. It seemed to be a lovely evening.
One piece of advice I can offer is, don't give them free reign with your credit card. They will ask for complete payment upfront, after you made an initial deposit. We were severely over charged for a bar bill and because I didn't check on them they charged us for drinks we never consumed.

I was in the Princeton area for business and got recommended the Nassau Inn. It is not a bad hotel but it feels quite outdated and not really a business hotel but maybe this is intentionally?
The room was spacious and clean so I would say it meets the basic hotel standards, in addition, they have quite an array of bathroom amenities. However, the room feels old fashioned - in a tired way, not in a charming way! One of my pet peeves in hotels is that they have no electricity plugs near the bed for guests to use without moving a whole lot of furniture. The rooms in the Nassau Inn take this annoyance

I spent the night of January 13th and in every way the accommodations, the service, and the decor of the room met my expectations. As soon as I walked into the lobby, the front desk could not have been nicer.
The location is wonderful in the center of historic Princeton and the staff of the hotel were very efficient and attentive.
I also got a great night of sleep because the beds were the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in.
I whole heartedly recommend the Nassau Inn! This is by far my top choice hotel when I visit Princeton.

Friends of ours had urged us to try to book a room at the Nassau Inn, when they heard we would be visiting in Princeton. They told us it was the best place to stay, if we liked wonderful service, great accommodations and wanted to be in the heart of downtown Princeton. The first time we visited, we tried to make a reservation, every room was booked. For this trip, we reserved a room a few weeks in advance and we had such an exceptional experience that we intend to make sure that we reserve we'll in advance of our future visits. Our room was spacious, very quiet, and surprisingly reasonably

A beautiful place with great food, the Nassau Inn has small rooms that are clean and well-kempt.
Oddly enough, the sinks are too high for the average person and there are no black-out curtains. Be prepared to find a lot of outside light coming into your room.
The internet has issues. Thankfully, Rosie at the front desk put her exceptional customer service skills to use and saved the day. Her compatriot, Brookelynn was wonderful. Both were professional, sincere, and extremely helpful.

Where else you gonna stay?
Aside from location, location, and location we were very pleased by the attentive and helpful staff. The furnishings were more than adequate, the beds comfy, and the room reasonably refurbished. It is nice that the Yankee Doodle Tap Room is attached - particularly in inclement weather. We had a yummy breakfast there though I could imagine going there for drinks as well. But really there are many delightful dining options within walking distance which is part of the pleasure of staying here.

Came here for something business related and really enjoyed my stay! The location is excellent, the staff were pleasant, and the room was comfy. The restaurant connected with the inn was also pretty nice, with decent service and tasty food.
All of that being said, I didn't have to personally pay for my room, and honestly, the price tag is kind of absurdly high. I can't really imagine staying here and paying ~$300+ a night, even though the location is extremely convenient. So taking into account the price, I have to lower my rating by a star.

Historic hotel. One of the two hotels by Princeton Univ. campus. I stayed here bc of the location in Palmer Sq. There are tons of places to eat and walk to nearby. The hotel is a bit dated: carpet, bedding, shower handle, elevator, and there is little cell phone reception. But the room and hotel were clean, everything worked, and it was a comfortable stay. I would stay again at the same price and if I had to be up somewhere in the morning.
There was a special rate online when I booked through their website.
Check-in desk people were friendly and helpful.

You know how you go to a historic hotel full of hope that it's going to be really great and then it turns out to be a place that's been living off its reputation for far too long. Let's start with the price. It was advertised as $275/night. So, I booked a non-refundable room only to find out that something like another $150 in charges, "tax recovery and service fees" to stay in a room that is still using incandescent light bulbs that burn too dimly to read a book by and has no refrigerator where one can chill a bottle of wine. Seriously?!

History abounds here, and if it were still 1776 this place would really be something. Sure the ambiance in their Tap Room would make any Revolutionary War reenactor muster to attention but the food and service is, by modern standards, an overpriced joke.
If you must, drop in for a beer and then exit stage left to any of the really fine restaurants within walking distance.
