The Chauncey is a great venue to host all of your wedding events. It's super convenient to have your rehearsal dinner and day of events in one location. Plus all your guests can stay on the grounds in their lovely hotel rooms. Their pricing is quite reasonable as well and the staffing is superb! We had the pleasure of having Amanda as our wedding coordinator who was a rockstar in answering all of our questions leading up to the wedding and making sure everything was setup and in place for our big day. The Chauncey was also super accommodating during the pandemic when we had to change our wedding

On my way to Princeton Cemetery…..very nice hotel. Most amenities were unavailable due to Covid but the ice was cold and I brought my own refreshments.

We stayed at the Chauncey Hotel in late June. Unfortunately, they over charged us by over $100. I called in June to address the matter and my call was not returned. I called again in September and October and left messages with the front desk, who promised they would pass along the message to billing. My calls were not returned. I sent an email last week and heard nothing back. This sort of behavior is not acceptable.

The hotel rooms were clean, although old and smell like mold. The building is old and wooden structure. So, if you happen to stay on the first floor, be ready to have all ceiling noises from the 2nd floor, walking, talking,..The staff was very friendly.
I was attending a conference there. At the same time there was a wedding, with load music, and noisy guests.

The first room they gave me had 4 hornets in it. I was hopeful for the second room they gave me but that was quickly dashed. The shower pooled at my ankles, the heat doesn’t work and the padlock on the door doesn’t work. Now all I hear is the bass from the wedding that’s going on. I don’t know how this got 4.3 stars but I’m extremely disappointed and not relaxed as I had planned. Once in the second room I didn’t bother complaining about anything. I had driven two hours to get here after working since 7:30am and I desperately wanted to relax. I just want to sleep and get out of here

Every star is for Miranda, who was just so kind and helpful. We needed a hotel in the middle of the night and because I have a baby, I really wanted a room near an outside door so I didn't have to bring the baby out the next day through the lobby and around people during the pandemic. Not only was she so kind and friendly, but she scouted out a room for us near a door, and when we got there she helped us in through that door and met us with the cart for our luggage. I lost my key somehow and she ran me a new one in minutes. The hotel itself was fine from what I saw. Definitely needs updates on

We had our wedding here on June 12, 2021 after postponing it due to COVID. Throughout the ups-and-downs of trying to plan a wedding during the pandemic, Amanda and the other staff members were incredibly thoughtful, communicative, accommodating and professional. When it was finally wedding weekend - it was absolutely magical. The grounds of the Chauncey made for a picturesque background for all the photos and we danced the night away under the tent. The Laurie House was the perfect place to make our home for the weekend and get ready in on the morning of. The food was outrageously delicious - even

We came to Princeton to see brood x cicadas. This place had a good review and looked interesting so we booked a room. That decision turned out to be a good one. The staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds were gorgeous (and full of cicadas!) Easy to order food and there was a nice indoor pool too. There were a few technical issues that prevented me from giving it 5 stars. The shower head wouldn't turn on (bath worked). The ice machine on our floor was broken and we're fairly certain the temperature control in our room didn't work right.
