I would have given Gilbert and Q&A Auto Glass 10 stars if that were possible. After having my window smashed during an attempted robbery, I initially tried to work through the repair place that contracts with my insurance company. They couldn't get me in for an appointment for a week and a half. I got Q&A's number from a body shop that had done some work for me two years ago. Gilbert responded right away, got the info he needed to find the right glass, ordered it right away, and in two days showed up at my home to do the install (what a major convenience). Gilbert from Q&A was awesome and extremely responsive. When our Volvo windshield got cracked and needed to be fixed immediately, I made about a dozen calls to various repair places. He was the first to call back, had the replacement windshield ordered within the hour, and arranged with the Volvo dealer to get it installed by him and calibrated by Volvo by the next business day. Super service, fair price and totally professional.

When I went to my car this morning I found one of the side windows broken out. As a nurse manager who works 10-12 hour days I had no idea how I would get it fixed. The Toyota dealership recommend Q&A Auto glass. He came to the surgery center by noon and had it fixed in under 30 minutes!! I recommend them very highly!!

I can't comment on Gilbert's work, but I can comment on his friendliness, honesty, and knowledge. He came out to fill a chip in my windshield, but immediately noticed it was already repaired once before, therefore he was unable to repair it again. He said it should be OK for now, but gave me an estimate on a new windshield should I need one in the future. Nice guy. I'd recommend him.

Great work! Called for a front windshield replacement, and they managed to get me in that day. One hour later (at a price about $100 cheaper than neighboring Safelite), I had a brand-new windshield.
My only criticism would be that, in general, the interior area around the windshield was a bit dirty/grimy when they were done (all over my car's beige plastic; I'm sure there's an actual name for this). Had to wipe that off when I got home, but it was well worth the five minutes to save all that cash.

Gil installed a replacement windshield on my vehicle and not only did a great job he advised that it would be wise to use my original trim which saved me about $40 00!!! Awesome!!!
The windshield was installed correctly without damage to my vehicle and the area was left clean like he was never there. I would use Q & A again and I recommend you give Q & A a try if you need auto glass work done.

Had a cracked windshield on a year old car. I told my insurance I wanted the same provider who worked on the dealership autos. I was connected to Gil. He couldn't have been nicer or efficient. He had to order the windshield and we made an appointment. He advised me that if there were any delays, he would call. Sure enough the replacement was damaged. He called and rescheduled for the next day. He is in San Jose and I was 20 miles away. He makes house calls. Very convenient. On time and very efficient, with a full warranty. Gil has years of experience and has been on his own for a few years
