The nurses responded quickly to my needs and always with a positive attitude. The Activities Director and her assistants made my stay interesting by providing programs that created stimulation and interaction with other residents. At Village Crest I was truly treated as a human being and not just a 'number.'

My Father has needed short term rehabilitation a few different times this year following hospital stays. We had heard of Village Crest through a family friend and are so thankful for her recommendation. The entire staff at VC have continually treated my dad with compassion, kindness and great care. Each time making him strong enough to return home safely. A big thank you to all the wonderful VC staff!

On multiple occasions my elderly brother has been a resident at Village Crest in New Milford, CT. He has always received kind and compassionate care. The staff has always been highly professional and immediately responsive to all of my queries. In addition, the administrative personnel have put into place policies and protocols that are intended to keep our loved ones safe during this current period in time. My family and I feel that my brother is receiving excellent care which is tailored to his individual needs.

My father received excellent care during his over 3 month stay at Village Crest. Everyone on staff was attentive and responded promptly to his needs. He received speech, physical and occupational therapy at the facility while recovering from a stroke, and he was able to make significant improvement during his time there. All of the doctors, nurses, aides and social worker kept us well informed of his medical needs and any issues that arose. It was a very positive experience for him and he always speaks highly of Village Crest. We are very grateful for all of their care and support.

My beloved Mother has been residing at Village Crest for the last year battling a severe case of Early Alzheimer’s Disease. I can tell you from first hand experience that this facility gives wonderful care to their patients. These are caring, hard working professionals giving the best individual care they can meeting the needs of all of their patients. Prior to COVID I visited often observing with appreciation. I am grateful to Village Crest and know my Mother is getting the care she so deserves.

I had a family member fairly recently admitted to the LTC section of Village Crest NC&R. Without the caring and knowlege of Felicia in Admissions I'm sure the transition would not have gone as successfully and smoothly as it did. The Administrator Erin is professional, thorough and takes the time to actually sit down and speak with family members. My brother-in-law visits daily and can't say enough about the care my family member receives. The few times I've visited, due to travel distance, I've seen the compassion and level of care the nurese and aides show my family member and others on all shifts

This place is awful !!! Don’t leave your love ones here .. they hire just anybody off the street and the employees threat the elder people so bad .. they give the patiences a menu to choose there food and they just feed them anything not healthy food at all .. The older people with dementia they treat them horribly have them on the wheelchair for 12 hours just sitting all day . They drop the patience and neglect them too ..
stay away from this place . Management is awful ... place is dirty they steal patience belongings... I will report to BBB...

I just called Village Crest to speak to a patient and the person that answered was immediately rude and did not seem like she wanted to allow the patient to speak to me. It was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. She grilled me regarding why I was calling and acted like I should not be calling this patient. Her tone was so unnecessary that I will be following up to make sure this facility is on the Dept of Health radar. Something is definitely off.

I am prefacing this review with a full disclosure: I AM a physician. My father was a patient here in June for a week. TWICE he was asked to sign a Do Not Resuscitate order after clearly stating he wanted to be resuscitated. The second time the nurse asking said she wanted to "make sure you know what your agreeing to". His wife, who visited him daily, found the facility dated and depressing. According to accounting the one short week he was there recovering from surgery, he received multiple therapies a day. He wife does not recall all these visits, and when I asked for an accounting of

My Mother has been at Village Crest on a few occasions over the past few years. She has done very well there and everyone has taken very good care of her, increasing her strength making her discharge to home very successful. Today she is needing to be admitted again from home after being discharged from the hospital before Christmas. There was a rush to get paperwork signed by her primary care doctor before a possible snow storm and special requests by my Mother as well. Felicia was amazing! She faxed the the Doctor's office immediately, answered my many phone calls, accommodated my Mom's wishes
