Friends had the unfortunate experience of suffering through a weekend of painfully inadequate accommodations at the Oasis. The space was claustrophobic's worst nightmare. Not only were the bedrooms the size of a walk in closet, they were filthy. There was hair and toothpaste spittle in the bathroom sink from previous occupants. There was a shoe and an energy drink can under the bed. There is no excuse for offering a rental space in this condition. Appalling. If there was a lower rating than one star, I would have given it.

The pool was under repair when we arrived, it would have been nice to know before booking considering it’s the main attraction of the place. Other folks checking in were equally bummed to find out about it.
The room was outdated which would have been fine if it was cleaned properly. Lots of dust, hair, smears/drips on walls, stains on all the curtains. Holes in the walls and flaking ceiling paint.
The room was hot, humid and smelled like chemicals and urine. The bathroom smelled like mildew and the shower curtain had mildew/mold on the bottom of it. The shower stall was poorly cleaned, not

Check in time was indicated for 3pm. We arrived at 5pm and our 2 rooms were not ready. Cleaning was not completed until 6. A huge inconvenience for our party considering our circumstances. The owner seemed annoyed with our presence and really could have cared less. The dirt, filth, garbage and unkept grounds are cringe worthy. Mattresses smelled of urine and bathroom had plenty of hair and grime. The absolute worst hotel experience! Top all this off with the owner gave a key to our room to another guest and they opened our door at 4am!

Stay here for the convenient low price and proximity to town, but know you get what you pay for.
Prior to booking the Oasis Motel, we read through the reviews and recognized the several "disappointed" guests. "It can't be THAT bad?" Well, within moments of arriving we heard those reviews loud and clear!
Upon checking in, the receptionist (owner?) acknowledged we had booked a Queen Room, but after fumbling through a few pages of pencil scratches (no legit computer system), she handed me a key for a Double room and repeated several times, "sleep only on one bed." It felt more of a command than

I spent 1 night in Lake George and this motel had the best rates. I was a little unsure due to some bad reviews, but it wasn't bad at all. It was safe and quiet. It has a quaint, vintage, mom & pop feel to it. You get an actual key, not a key card. The furniture is old. It's not fancy or sparkling clean, but the room has amenities such as AC, TV, coffee maker. It's in a great location, on the main road near the village. The only downside is that the swimming pool was out of order, but you're fairly close to the beach. If you're looking for a simple place to sleep and shower without spending a lot

This place is definitely not worth the money. Way overpriced and very dirty. We found trash under the bed. The bathroom and floors were dirty and the towel they gave us were white with brown stains on them. On line they looked like nice newer cabins but we’re old and not well up kept. The bedrooms smelt like pee and A/C did not keep the room cool.
