Our Standard One King Rooms are located in our office building. These rooms feature one king bed, 32-inch flat panel televisions, cable, air conditioning, heat, direct-dial room phones, refrigerator, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and a full bath with tub and shower. Traveling from the South (NYC, LI and NJ): Take the New York State Thruway (I-87) North to Exit 24 in Albany, NY. Take the second exit onto the Adirondack Northway (I-87) North toward Montreal. Travel approximately 50 miles to Exit 22. Take Exit 22 and turn right onto Rt. 9 South. After the first traffic light the Park Lane Motel is on your left.

Rooms are nice and clean . Location is great for walking downtown. Downside is parking is tight when place is full . Walls are very thin . Can hear the people upstairs walking , talking running water . Flushing toilets. At night you can hear people outside talking at all times of the night . Even people from the adjacent property that's over 60 feet from ur room. So if your a light sleeper you may want to consider a different motel.

While I have no real complaints about the property, the owner/manager is another matter. My reservation was completely botched. I checked in on Monday and was assured Mike would be in touch. Just checked out today and nothing for the past 3 days. Juanita is wonderful and her talents are wasted at the front desk. Perhaps she should take over as Mike is either incompetent or indifferent, neither of which is acceptable in the hospitality business. I understand this family owns a number of Lake George properties. I don't think they should allow Mike to manage any of them.

If you have a preconceived idea about motels, you're probably correct with this one; however, they do have the added benefit of having a heated pool, a nice little beach area, a deck with tables and chairs, gas grills, and also free kayak rentals. Check-in was very easy and our room was spacious; however, it wasn't very clean but it wasn't super dirty either (motel standards if you get my drift). The place could do with a little facelift inside the room and bathroom. We had a mini fridge in our room but there was no microwave, but they promptly brought us one when we asked. Our room

We have enjoyed Park Lane many times over the years. Unfortunately, it seems the new management has hired staff that are incompetent. We were overcharged for a room and after several times going to the office to receive a refund due us, we were told they put it through. This is something you don’t want to deal with when you are on vacation trying… to relax! When I got home, I checked my credit card account to assure the refund went through and saw I was charged again, not refunded! Now, after several more calls, I have been refunded 1/2 of what I was due to be refunded. Park Lane still

I arrived here last night around 10:30pm after driving for many hours. When I arrived I was surprised to see how many people were walking around the property that late at night, it looked like a party. I went to check in and the woman at the front desk was SUPER nice. She explained that no smoking is allowed inside the rooms, no pets are allowed, fireworks are on the beach the following night, paddle boards and kayaks are free rentals at the property, and that I could check out a DVD from their huge selection or choose a board game or book. Wonderful waterfront motel! Meghan was very nice and accommodating when we checked in. We stayed in the older building that hasn't been remodeled (there are newer rooms and water views available for more)...not shiny and new, but everything is well maintained and the staff is great. You can tell they put a lot of effort into making it a nice experience for their guests. Comfortable beds and bedding, air conditioning worked well, nice tv and DVD player, good water pressure. Lots of games and DVDs available in the office to borrow, movies, popcorn & snow cones by the pool on Fridays, free

I booked a room at Park Lane for a last minute weekend trip to LG. I visit LG 2 to 3 times a year and this has been the best room I have stayed in. The staff was so friendly. We arrived early and they had no issue checking us in to our room. The room is clean and spacious. The motel is right on the lake and right in the village. There are beautiful tables with grills on the patio overlooking the lake. I can not believe how affordable the room was. I will be returning to Park Lane for our next LG trip!

This business is not listed on major hotel search engines, you have to call and book over the phone.
This past weekend, Columbus Day weekend, it was sold out for Saturday night.
The village was booming with people and packed restaurants and bars. In October!
My only gripe, our shower curtain was moldy and I am glad we brought our own pillows!
This is a fun place for families and couples.

I'm giving this place an extra star because they waited up past midnight to make sure we got in our room ok. Then, the manager walked out, and wished us a nice stay - a very kind group.
We just stayed over a night, and the kids were happy, the room was clean, it was close to the bank cafe, which we liked a lot, and they also liked the little playground and the lake dock. Our kids were too little to do a kayak ride along, but they were there, in good condition and looked like fun.
