We had the special kabab platter with Chicken kabab, koobide and lamb chops. Nothing was marinated nor fresh. Totally not worth ordering again!
I give two stars because of tahchin + gheime which was tasty.
The service was also not impressive. The servers only came to our table twice when ordering and paying.

This place has just become my favorite Persian place in Westwood! I came here with my friends, one of them Persian. And the Persian friend took care of ordering for us. We shared ash reshteh and I split beef barg & beef koobideh with a friend. Ash reshteh was my favorite dish of the day! It was a hearty dish and perfect for cold weathers. It may not be surprisingly delicious but the flavors were definitely on point. The beef barg and beef koobideh were both great! They were juicy and not overly seasoned so that you could taste the goodness of the beef. I also stole some of my friend's

A good Iranian restaurant with excellent Halim. The weak point for this restaurant is that in the morning, especially on weekends, they open a shop at 11 o'clock, which is not pleasant for me because it prevents me from getting to the important things I do on weekends, so I rarely come here. That's why I rarely go here even though it has good food.

My wife and I have always loved Persian food and we decided to stop at Westwood Blvd as we were driving through LA. We chose to dine at Farsi Cafe and we're glad we did! We had Kashk O Bademajan, which is fried eggplants topped with whey and sauteed with mint and garlic. It was a delicious appetizer. Perfect for dipping the fresh pita we were served into it. For the main course we had an unbelievably great dish that I've never tried before called Abghosht. It's a complicated, not always available dish but worth going to this restaurant for if only to try it. (I've never seen

I've been ordering from here for about 4 years, about once per week or two. I used to love it, but recently found that they've stopped providing lavash bread, so there's no way to eat any of the appetizers. Any good Persian knows that Persian appetizers require a side of bread to consume. But for some reason, no bread anymore, and you can't insert a comment in the food delivery app to remind them to add it. I'll be ordering from other Persian restaurants from now on.

My food is okay. I like my lamb kabob the most. When asked, my friend said her food is alright too.
But most importantly, I want to review the exceptional service here. My friend can be a Karen sometimes. She asked what the price would be of some kabob without the included rice. Then she changed her minds like 3 more times.
I ordered a Chef's special combo. When I went to the restroom, the staff asked my friend if I was sure about my order because it is a huge portion. My friend said yes, I wanted leftover. She then waited for me to come out and asked me for sure. The staff was so patient

I ordered 3 entrees plus an appetizer ( egg plant)
Was happy that I'm gonna eat good Persian food!
When I started eating with daughters I got disappointed with eggplant did not taste as good as other Persian restaurants, the Kababs ( both meat & chicken ) was kind of tasteless NO grilled onions just one lousy tomato and the rice did not taste that great aromatic Persian rice.
I paid $86 for a meal I did not enjoy at all

Table of 3 eating and HUNGRY and couldn’t finish this perfect plate while trying to taste a little bit of everything they had to offer. Honestly was very impressed with the comfortable seating, lovely inside decor and a wonderful staff at hand. We plan on going again as they have soo many stews outside of this grilled option we chose today, and I recommend you all do the same!

Cant say enough good things about this place. I have only been doing takeouts with them due to pandemic but now that they have an outdoor dining I will definitely try it out.
Food I always get and highly recommend are:
Loobia polo
Tah dig w/ half & half stews
Fesenjan
Gheyme bademjan
Ghorme sabzi
I am sure their other items are as good but I always come back when i am craving this exact items so haven't try other items yet. But will do soon!

Great place to get takeout for families-- we order a Beef Kobideh with an extra skewer of meat and a Chicken Kobideh also with an extra skewer, they came in two huge containers and the food was enough to feed four adults.
Great tasting and very tender meats too! I'd recommend the ground meat (beef or chicken) versus the chucks of meat as the ground ones are much more flavorful.
Just one note about their peppers -- do not try unless you are a black belt of spicy food eater; they can kill! ; )

I used to get Farsi Cafe delivered all the time when Uber Eats was first starting out. It was super convenient because parking tends to be tough on Westwood Boulevard. However I hadn't eaten the food in years so I decided to come here with family for dinner the day after Thanksgiving. We miraculously found a metered spot that was open right by the restaurant.
Upon entering we were given several choices for seating and decided on one by the door. There was live music which was nice and the restaurant was pretty full. Our menus were given right away and we started to browse the different selections

This food in a word...HEAVENLY! Real Persian cuisine prepared exquisitely. This food done right, nothing in this world can beat it.
And Farsi Cafe does it right.
"Cafe" is a bit confusing...its a wonderful sit-down restaurant with great service.
Good one to remember if you're anywhere near Westwood.

Very friendly staff who helped us pick what we wanted on the menu. There was also live music playing all the classics on his guitar which was a nice touch. The place seemed a bit old and overdue a makeover however.
The food was pretty good. Things I wouldn’t recommend though are the olives and pickles to start with. They are in some spice/sauce which I really didn’t like which was a shame. For the main course I got the leg of lamb which was delicious and literally fell off the bone which was nice. It came with a side of green rice (cooked in dill). Overall I would say the food is a bit overpriced

Came here for Dine LA. Persian food. Made a reservation but don't really need one. Not a very busy restaurant. They have live music here which was quite interesting. Big portions for sure. The rice was amazing! I got the ground meat kabob - meh, I actually preferred the rice over the meat. Hubby got the fesenjan stew cause the pomegranate sounded interesting - on the sweeter side which the waitress did note. If it was slightly less sweet, I think I would like it even more. We kind of regret to getting the lamb cause it looked really good. Yogurt was really good too! The ice cream was not really
