Services
Dr. Amanda Burris grew up in Londonderry, NH. Her whole life has been spent caring for animals. Instead of being the neighborhood baby-sitter, she was the neighborhood pet-sitter. She spent summers and every school break working for her aunt, a world champion horse trainer in Kentucky. Dr. Burris graduated with honors in biology from St. Lawrence University in upstate New York in 2004 where she competed on the equestrian team.
We will try to accommodate any emergency that occurs during our regular hours. There may be times that you may be better serviced by being referred to one of the following 24/7 facilities. At these times, our concern will always be for the well being of your pet. Location: Corner of Abby Road and South Willow St (Rte 28).

A huge thank you to the staff and Dr Burris 🙏. Our awesome Domino was treated so well there and Brandon was such a huge help in listening to me when I was grieving my dog. Dr Burris went above and beyond to try to save him. I trust these wonderful people who I have such respect for. Thank you so much for your caring ways. All my dogs are so lucky to have a veterinarian so close and caring.

This is an average vet with a below average staff. I have brought 4 animals in and been to the facility 5 times )and spent much money) and have never met the vet! I understand that because of COVID we could not go into the office, but the vet never came out to go over her findings --never mind to introduce herself. And I paid full price for this partial service. Further, when I expressed disagreement with a recommended treatment, instead of this vet calling me to discuss, she had the receptionist relay a message. Clearly, they do not care as much as they like to think since the disagreement had

Amanda is great. The office staff is wonderful. We love to call and chat with Brandon when we need some assistance. Even though most of the crew was on vacation this visit we will ALWAYS drive 45 minutes to T&C for the BEST care for our fur babies

Not customer friendly.
It is July 2021, COVID vaccines are out and people don’t even have to wear masks in most of the USA, but they won’t let customers use their restroom while waiting for an appointment even though it is in the middle of nowhere. They said they aren’t a restaurant so they don’t need to let customers use the restroom…sure. But come on.
Also, extra work for customers who use Chewy because they wont electronically validate prescriptions so you have to get paper and mail it in. They say Chewy makes too many mistakes. Just a FYI for online pharmacy users.

I have been bringing my corgi to another vet for years, but she got a rabies vaccination at Town and Country when she was young. She currently has a UTI (I believe), and due to transportation issues, there are very small windows of opportunity that I can get her, or myself for that matter, to appointments. Her regular vet doesn’t have anything open today, so I thought I’d try Town and Country as don’t live far from the facility and just want to make sure she’s ok. Once the woman found her in the system, she noted the fact that they had not seen her in a long time and it was only for a vaccine

I’ve been going to them for three dogs and a cat for many years. They’ve always been professional and responsive while helping to go over treatment options and even trying non medicine versions first for some things. I’ve moved further away and still drive back for visits and my ex with one of the dogs moved out of state and she still drives back as well!

I would recommend Town & Country without a moment of hesitation! I recently moved to MA from Vernon & choose to make the 30 minute drive, that tells you how wonderful Town & County is, in every way! Dr.'s, techs, receptionists, all are fabulous! I have had many pets & due to moving, have been to a number of Animal Hospitals, hands down, if you want the best care for your pets this is the Hospital is the one you want. You will not find a more compassionate, knowledgeable, efficient & professional staff!!
