Its a quaint simple set up but very relaxed. The restaurant next door is great too I got a prime rib dinner to go and just hung out in the room. The manager called me around 10 pm to see when I won't be getting in and I said 3 hours away still coming from long island and he left the key under the Mat and cut on the TV in the room to deter people I suppose. It was very kind instead of just saying oh well we are shutting down for the night. I gave 5 stars because there is nothing that I could say was below 5 stars when It comes to price and expectations of any motel. I trust the location and I will

Not worth the price. In oct we paid 110 a night definitely over priced by 40 to 50 dollars for what your getting here. The decor? 1976 is calling for this place. The kitchen needs a deep clean. Grease on walls and ceilings and the kitchen window you can see out of it due to the grease. Plenty of hot water that was a plus but water pressure was poor. Worst I would say was the beds. When you sit in them they immediately turned into giant tacos they had absolutely no support to the what so ever. Was better to sleep on the floor.

The rooms are small but no complaints. Can use some updating. It's quiet. I did notice one of the shampoo bottles seal was opened from the samples in the bathroom.
I did bring my own though.
The lake is beautiful & so are the trees outside my bathroom window.
That's the best part, is listening to the water flow. They don't provide room service due to the pandemic but just let the front desk know what you need. It is close to the small shopping district by driving like 3 mins and walking about 15. The room key is a regular key nothing fancy which was fine. Don't have to worry about a key card

Filthy dirty place. Ceiling started leaking and owner did nothing when notified. No coffee maker, broken toaster in room with kitchen. No clean towels, toilet paper or trash bags were ever restocked even once during our four night stay. We will not be back. Honestly surprised there weren't bed bugs.

I was going to book a room through Air B&B for $1,829 on 6/14-7/14. I called the hotel and the front desk and she asked how much Air B&B is charging me. She explained to me it would be cheaper to speak with the owner he will call you back in 10 minutes. After an hour wait she calls me back and asks the dates we would be staying... then quotes me $2,500. I looked on the site and noticed they changed the entire cost. WHAT A SCAM!!!!! BE VERY CAREFUL STAYING HERE!!

I stayed with my wife in one room and our son, his wife, and our 19 month old grandson in another room from 6/30 to 7/3/2020. FOR THE PRICE WE COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR MORE!!!!. The rooms were clean as was the pool. The staff was VERY friendly. This is a quaint motel. DO NOT EXPECT TO STAY IN AN UPSCALE PLACE!. For our family - we loved it and it was a great value on a wonderful trip.

NASTY!!!!! Other review was being nice. This place is disgusting. The room was extremely dirty, looked behind the nightstand and there was caked up dirt and used keg cups that looked like they were there for a year. Room service did not vacuum even once or change the sheets at all and we stayed for 5 nights! Complained to manager/owner about dirt in the room, the keg cups, and the sheets, and the issues were never addressed. Towels had stains on them and there was dust caked up on the radiators in the bathroom. Don't waste your money this place is terrible to the point where I contacted the

Bed Bugs!!!
We stayed at this motel on 9/1/11 in room 16. That night we found bedbugs.We told the owners and all they said to us was do you want another room. We watched in horror as the cleaning girl changed the sheets and reopenned the room after we left. Sometimes cheaper isn't always better. We stayed at a 4-5 star hotel.
