Lawton's Service Company and LSC Mechanical are an automotive repair shop and towing and recovery service. We have 2 locations conveniently located on Mercer St in Hightstown, NJ. In business for over 25 years, we are made up of two companies that handle different customer needs. LSC Mechanical is a consumer automotive repair shop, ready to handle any of your typical repairs and maintenance from oil changes to tires to larger repairs.
This company also handles most towing and recovery operations. Lawton's Service Company is the older of the two, and handles all manner of larger vehicles and machinery, as well as towing and recovery of larger vehicles. Our tag line "Give us a call, we do it all", was originally used with this company because we are equipped to handle a wide variety of jobs that go far outside the scope of a typical repair shop.

New transmission turned around in 24 hours!!!! We can’t speak highly enough of Jeff and his shop. On Thursday, in route from MD to ME we broke down on 95 in NJ. Thankfully another nearby business (Treat’s garage/Mackeys towing - also highly recommended) was able to get us off the side of the highway (very scary) and tow our 2004 Ford excursion with our 4 dogs, cat and packed utility trailer in a quick manner. When Treat’s determined it was a transmission leak that would require a new transmission they were also honest and said they would not be able to turn it around quickly. We needed to

Service was excellent! We had a flat tire. They closed at 5 but willing to take us in. We were out in no more than 22 mins. Super nice, military discount. Very friendly. Did a good job fixing our rim and changing tire. Highly recommend this place!

I wish I could give negative stars for this place. As someone who knows one of the mechanics that used to work for this place I wouldn't take a lawnmower there. He's a greedy selfish man to work for. The employees that kiss his butt all day stand around doing nothing while 1 or 2 guys do everything and get paid Penny's for it. When they have people's cars in their they will make up more things wrong with it to be able to charge more for something that isn't broken. I went here twice, once for a new tire and once for an upper control arm and alignment. They put on a tire that didn't match my other 3 without telling me ahead of time. They charged a lot for the alignment and then the car still pulled to the left significantly. I needed to go to Mr. Tire in Princeton to get it fixed.
These guys are also somewhat unprofessional in terms of their language and their general appearance. I would not recommend them.
