Omega Recovery was created in Austin in 2018 in order to address the explosive epidemic of addictive and mental health disorders that are occurring in record numbers among young people in America today.

Through extensive diagnostic evaluations and holistic treatment, Dr. Kardaras is dedicated to enhancing wellness by offering clarity, direction, and results. Dr. Kardaras is an Ivy-League educated psychologist, an internationally renowned speaker, and one of the country's foremost Technology Addiction experts.
We work with a variety of different insurance plans. We are happy to verify your insurance benefits and help explain the available options based on your policy's coverage. It's important to know that not all insurance plans are the same and most insurance authorization is based on medical necessity.
Omega Recovery offers a full continuum of care, end-to-end with Treatment Homes, Sober Living and Out Patient services. We not only help you work through the surface with proven counseling techniques but we also work to address the underlying issues with deep dive and core work. We have a community integration model that along with sobriety will make the transition back to society successful.

My daughter’s experience at Omega was hard, but with therapy, group therapy , real life skills, and a great Phychitrist she made it through.
There are so many people there I’d like to thank, Wesley, Jamie, Dr. Regie all the techs. Everyone kept in touch with us, her family. They were so kind.
No recovery organization is perfect, things change daily and they are doing a great job to help your loved ones. They actually care for you loved one.
I would definitely recommend Omega for someone that is struggling with life.

They will push you to try new things which can be difficult if you've lived isolated for a while. But the staff like Wesley and Alex are understanding and during my time there I always felt like they were in my corner. This was also true for the friends I made that showed me what a healthy support group looked like

It was a lot of apprehension when our son was leaving for Omega Recovery to get help with tech addiction recovery. He is now ready to discharge after spending 8 weeks and we've seen so much changes. We truly appreciate the entire staff of Omega for a wonderful job and will like to specially thank Wesley Kerce, Director of Operations, who went beyond normal duties to mentor our son while holding him accountable. My recovery wouldn’t have been anywhere near the same without Wesley Kerce. I had so much help from him with everything for so many vital things. He went above and beyond to provide us with the support that we needed and cared to an extent that not many people in charge would. He worked with me regularly and related with me in a way that encouraged me and kept me mindful. He proves himself to be both an amazing leader and friend to anyone who may need it. I sincerely have him and the community to thank for having an enriched and amazing time at Omega.

If you are reading this review, you are like we were a couple of months ago - desperate to find THE RIGHT PLACE to get professional help for someone you love that has mental health/addictions that have either spun out of control or have escalated to a point where you feel helpless. The Recovery Rehab is part of Bridgeway Sober Living. My daughter was a resident of the sober home and this IOP is connected and run by the same individuals. My daughter did not find their program helpful and the one on one counseling promised was only given after I asked about it a couple of weeks in. I found them to be unprofessional on many levels and if you search Bridgeway Sober living you can read my post there. They tend to have a very young group of clients and very immature. They shared treatment information with my ex husband without my consent, a possible violation of HIPAA. In my opinion, based on my interactions with him, Dr Kardaras (Omega's founder) seems much more concerned with getting his face on tv (he's appeared on a few d-list talk shows and trashy reality programs) than focusing on helping his clients. Stay far away.
