I'm a colony-born migrant, diasporic settler on Turtle Island, therapist of Color, and mental health liberation activist. I created Inclusive Therapists: a social justice-oriented mental health directory and community that celebrates the strengths & centers the needs of marginalized communities. I also lead a mental health liberation movement to decolonize, disrupt and dismantle oppressive mental health practices.
In community, we restore, reimagine & reclaim our healing. I believe that all people with all identities & abilities in all bodies deserve equal access to quality mental health care. On top of that, I learned so much about racial trauma and rupture - I plan to use information from the webinar in my personal and professional life.

Services
Support free community care, decolonial education, and our mental health liberation activism work. As a proud PhD drop-out, I am raising funds to continue to support my QTBIPOC colleagues that are contributing to the field of Decolonial Psychology. Inclusive Therapists offers a safer, simpler way to find a culturally responsive, social justice-oriented therapist.

Melody has been invaluable to my self-growth over the past 2 years.
When I started therapy, I was struggling with the anxieties of being a female in my 20s and the aftermath of a painful breakup. Melody was effective in helping me articulate my emotions by asking me pointed questions that allowed me to be thoughtful about the root cause of my feelings. Above all, I genuinely felt that Melody cared for me and my well-being.
Ultimately, I am really grateful for our time together because Melody helped equip me with the tools I needed to be a more thoughtful and introspective person. I have grown

I highly recommend Melody because of her honesty, empathy, and passion for helping others. I appreciate how well she connects with others in a grounded and open-minded way. At particularly difficult or significant life changes in my life, it has been such a comfort to have Melody patiently listen and provide insightful input to help me along the way. Her perspective is refreshing and it is very clear how passionate she is about helping others.

I am so excited for this business to finally be open! Melody is someone who I have always found empathetic, observant, and able to BE there with you. I can always rely on her to be honest with me, even if the answers are hard to hear. Melody is someone who is open-minded and sensitive to the diversity of who you are, where you are from, and where you might want to go. Melody with this place is a real treasure in Austin!
