Stayed here back in June 2021. To be quite honest, it has got to be the worst motel I have ever stayed at. The bed's we're terribly uncomfortable and stiff. I had two beds in the room and neither one was great. I had to use the pillows to try to get comfortable. There was blood stains on the sheets. The shower head was so low I had to bend down low in order to get my head wet. I have gotten much nicer hotels for a much cheaper price. The room's need a much needed remodeling. I had to print out my own motel agreement at home to sign. I guess they don't want to pay for their own paper. The only thing

This place was ok at best...my room was full of Flys, every time we killed a few more would just appear. The window air conditioning unit was busted, i tried changing the temp to 80° & it was still alway freezing, me and the kids could not sleep comfortably, also I know motel beds aren't the best but ugh these were the most uncomfortable we've ever slept in. The rules said I had to make sure I washed any dishes I used in the kitchenette or I'd be charged $50! Not for anything but isn't that why the maid services are included in pricing, But there is no turn down service and she only comes by spacial

The positive experience started when we booked our stay here. Julie was very friendly and helpful. We had a great stay. One block to the beach-boardwalk and many other restaurants and activities. Tony was very friendly and helpful at check in. Our room was ready early. It was clean and had all we needed. I saw a comment about small bathrooms and showers. That is true but the water pressure is awesome. Had a great getaway and would recommend The Fountain to others.

This place was just what I needed.. close to the beach yet affordable! It has what I needed, even if it isn't anything fancy. Nice and quiet, they make sure no teenagers are there so this is a nice place to bring your family. The guy was very nice at check in, his daughter works there too so it is a nice small family business that I'm happy to support. I did do 4 stars only because there were a couple things I could nit pick about but they didn't matter to me and I choose not to complain.

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the room! The staff was super friendly. The accommodations were perfect for a relaxing beach trip. The pool was nice, they cleaned it daily and you could tell the owners took great care into keeping everything looking and working great. It was an easy walk to the beach, boardwalk and restaurants!
