Why do we tell everyone when we're struggling with a cold, but hesitate to tell anyone when we're struggling with major depression? In supporting people's ability to live on their terms, we work to remove the stigma around mental health conditions and clear the way for honest conversations.
At our outpatient clinics and residential treatment facilities, you're valued as an individual, with personalized treatment plans drawn up with your collaboration.Together, we'll discuss your needs and desires, but you set your own goals.

As your partner in care, we work with you to determine the best course of action. This may include medication management, case management, individual and group therapies, and skills training. We believe you know what is best for you. Together, we'll create a personalized treatment plan to help you reach your mental health goals.
We know the value of peer support. In addition to integrating peer support specialists within our services, we offer programs focused exclusively on peer-to-peer engagement. With the support of your peers, you can build and connect with a community while pursuing your unique wellness goals. Not everyone is ready for treatment services right away.
Safe, stable housing is essential to people's mental health and well-being. It can also play a critical role in recovery, helping you rebuild and maintain independence, develop day-to-day routines, and build confidence. This is especially true when your housing includes access to support services. At New Narrative, we offer a variety of housing options to meet different needs.

I acttually had been referred from an agency I was working with. They were suppose to pay for up to 2 months worth of sessions. It's almost been 2 months and I've never been talked to by anyone. I was actually told by the last person that Quote " What you say to me to be honest, Does not matter, you will be working with someone new next time. Im going on vacation. ". This place is a joke. And you shouldn't call yourself a mental health service if you can't actually provide any service. Stop stealing people's money.

My time here was extremely pointless. When I told my therapist (Daniel Calabrese) what I was going through his response was "okay." He didn't help me work through any of my issues but instead told me "at least you're not homeless." He also told me that because I have disability I would be eligible for Ride Connections, I called them and they said I can only take Ride to Care because I have OHP, I told my therapist this and he had no response or apology. I felt like I was talking to a brick wall.

They illegally through my belongings away without informing me. Went into a mental health place to get help. Was told my stuff would be safe. Only to find it thrown away. I spent months tryna reach out and they avoided me and still do to this day. I just wanna understand what happen. Nobody told me nothing. They just through away my belongings. They lack communication. Staff are careless and the music program they have have has been nothing but toxic from what Iβve seen and experienced.

I started seeing the counselor Killian and he asked me banal questions, I felt no connection, and I missed a few appointments due to my work schedule but he never reached out to me after not speaking. I always had to try to get ahold of the front desk to reschedule with him because he never answered his direct line, and wasn't allowed to have his email so contacting him was like trying to get ahold of a ghost. And keep in mind, being a depressed person it's difficult for me to go out of my way to ask for help let alone be able to get out of bed in the morning so it was very frustrating

I just had a horrifying experience with a receptionist.
I called to inquire about getting mental health treatment because this facility is covered by OHP. First, the receptionist asked me where I had received treatment in the past. I answered although it is absolutely none of her business. Then, she dismissively mentioned that there is a long wait, months out, to see a professional. I said that although it isn't ideal, I want to make an appointment anyway. She didn't let me, because she then asked WHY I wanted to go there. The receptionist did this! Stupidly, I told her why, to which she said

1. Do not go to Luke-Dorf if you are mobility-impaired.
We called ahead to ask about wheelchair accessibility of their facility, and were blatantly lied to. The main floor of the building where the waiting room resides is wheelchair accessible, but most of their offices for seeing clients are down a flight of stairs. There is no elevator.
2. Do not go to Luke-Dorf if you are trans.
The intake specialist made a huge deal about how she wanted to get my pronouns and preferred language correct, only to turn around not ten minutes later to actively and knowingly misgender me to other members of
