I go here often, but recently learned not to use a card to pay. Get quarters from the cash machine and use those for the self wash. The system seems to be set up to take $10 at a time, and anything less than this will charge $10 to your card. Yes, I pressed the button to stop charging when finished, and was shown $3.50 but was charged $10 on my card. The facilities are clean and work fine, just not the payment system. This is the second time this happened, using a different card each time.

The car wash part worked well. I did not understand at first how the billing worked so it ended up being slightly more expensive than I expected. The vacuum area worked very well. It was powerful and easy to use. Overall I much prefer this type of car wash because I never am able to get my car fully cleaned with drive through type. I think they have one of those there as well. Eventually I will just purchase my own power hose so I don't have to pay a car wash.

Great experience here. Service was quick and reliable. Staff is friendly. Very reasonably priced inspection which also came with a free car wash so killed two birds with one stone! To top it off, I noticed there is an employee who is working to constantly keep the place clean which is always awesome to see. Definitely recommend if you're new to tx or in need of an inspection.

Great little self-serve car wash. I'm not exactly sure how long I've been coming here but it's well over 10 years now. Given that no place is perfect, I found the equipment and supplies I've been in good repair and readily available 99 out of 100 times. I keep my cars very clean and use these bays to do a hand wash with assist from the pressure wand, (and I pay for 100% of the time) because their supplies are great and it's nice to be able to have a place to go that is not my driveway.

I tried this place out because it was a Saturday and they could inspect without having to leave my car for at least 2 hours... Fast, friendly and I was out of there within 10 min inspection time. Plus you get a free automatic car wash! My new go to for inspections. and good to know about the manual car wash :)

This review is for the inspection part only. This business was recommended to me by another local business, and now I recommend it to other drivers and riders. If you drive a motorcycle or moped, get your inspection done here. They are friendly, fast, and thorough.
There is still a pandemic and the inspectors wear masks. The waiting area is currently outside, but I assume that will probably change back to their nice little office. Use caution while walking around.
Hot tip! Use their right side waiting spot so you will not get sprayed by the carwash. Yeah - and don't drive into the garage

I live across the street from the car wash. For
some unknown reason they feel the need to use their leaf blower multiple times a day. One might ask "I wonder why they need to use the leaf blower so often when there are no trees on the premises." Because they blow the leaves into a corner then the wind blows the all around the car wash and they have to repeat the process. BE A BETTER NEIGHBOR AND BAG THE LEAVES SO WE DON'T HAVE TO BE DISTURBED ALL DAY WITH THE CONSTANT LEAF BLOWING. WE'RE ALL WORKING FROM HOME THROUGH THE PANDEMIC.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. NEVER use their automatic car wash. The bumpers are way too narrow and left me with a nice long scratch on my car. There are two other reviews where other people had the same thing happened to them. DON'T use this place unless you want to scratch up your car !!!!!!!
And guess what? The wash never even came on. So my car got scratched, I paid $8, and got NOTHING.
So disappointed and deeply regret coming here.

Avoid this place for inspections.. I went here for an inspection with a Jaguar F Type, and they managed to kill my battery and cause 13 errors to appear in my car. Plus the check engine light. My car wouldn't even start for 2 minutes after they plugged their machine in. Their response was that it's not their fault, there's something wrong with my car because it's not allowing them to connect to my OBD2 port..... my car was PERFECTLY fine before they plugged their machine into it.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! If you have rims that you appreciate don't take your vehicle here. Here are pictures of my rims after getting the Deluxe wash. 9 dollar wash ends up into a 500 dollar fix I have to get. I hope the owner will try to make this better in any way. Until then screw this place and the staff member who told me blah blah blah.

If your car is in a bad condition, that even yourself is thinking "is this going to work?" Pls go down pay a 2.50 hand wash yourself first then select the 6$ tunnel wash service it'll work batter then 9$ tunnel service! At least that's what I'm doing and it works great!

I paid for the $9 "ultimate" (or "deluxe" or some such) automatic car wash. The most expensive option available. Now I don't have the highest expectations when it comes to automatic car washes, but I at least expect the outer coat of grime and dust to be taken off. These photos were taken two hours after the car wash. Large portions of the car were still visibly discolored by dirt and grime. There was enough dust on my tailgate and sides for me to write in. And in case you're thinking it had been years since my last car wash, it's only been 4 months.

It's overpriced for self service. They do advertise that there is a $10 minimum for any credit card payments. However they don't clearly tell you what that $10 will buy you. The digital screen shows $2.50 to start. So without any clarification one would safely assume the cost is $2.50 per swipe. So you would think you need to swipe 4 times to get your full $10 worth of credit. Similar to a bar that has a $10 minimum so you buy enough drinks to cover the minimum. Well this is wrong at University Car Was. They will charge you $10 each swipe no matter what. I would recommend not giving them
