Founded in 2002, SJDCHS's commitment to education encompasses more than rigorous classroom instruction for students in the 9th-12th grades, it involves the development of the spiritual, academic and personal growth of each student. The dedicated faculty, staff and administration at SJDCHS are able to provide individual attention to the current 150 students with a 12:1 student teacher ratio.

In addition to a full academic curriculum, students at SJDCHS participate in faith formation activities, community service, athletics, extra-curricular activities, and a four-year corporate internship program.

San Juan Diego Catholic High School offers a rigorous, college preparatory curriculum that aims to serve our students' unique needs. Each student at San Juan Diego Catholic High School (SJDCHS) has an option to receive a TCCED's "Distinguished Achievement" Diploma of 28 credits. The demanding coursework required to achieve the "Distinguished Achievement" Diploma prepares students for success in their post-secondary studies.
The Texas Catholic Conference Education Department is assisted by the Texas Catholic Conference Accreditation Commission and is part of the state-approved Texas Private School Accreditation Commission. In 2013, schools accredited through TCCED were granted dual accreditation through Advanced Ed, Southern Association of Schools and Colleges.
